Spot on in the center of town, the hotel is a pleasant B&B run by a welcoming couple doing all they can to help you out. They pointed us to two eating out places that were top of the range: Krokos seafood restaurant was 70m from the B&B and opposite this place a pretty lunch place with a stunning view of the Med. At 5-7 minutes walking from the railway station, a great location.

The accomodation was quite spacious with great airconditioning, however the bathroom (shower) was quite squishy. The host was fantastic to deal with and provided great advice on when to go to the valley of temples to beat the heat. The host’s effort for breakfast in the morning, being an assortment of pastries was incredible and so considerate. The provision of a car park was also amazing as we were quite anxious about parking the hire car, however it was all fairly easy. The internet in the accomodation was also unreal! highly recommend this cute stay.

There was a drain smell in the bathroom. Nothing too bad, but uncomfortable. I hope they can fix it.

The room is right next to the breakfast area, so if you're a light sleeper you may be woken up in the night or morning. This didn't affect us though. Parking was an issue. We drove to the given location, which is in a restricted zone, and there was nowhere to park, so we had to continue driving for quite a long way until we could stop somewhere and ring the hotel. Unfortunately my Italian is almost non existant and I couldn't understand what the owner told me in English so we just drove round and found somewhere outside of the centre to park our car. I'm still not exactly sure what the parking arrangements were meant to be, perhaps they give you a permit to park in a local car park? In any case if I were to go again I'd park outside of the restricted zone and walk in with my bags. Where we parked was only ten minutes away from the hotel.

The hotel is right in the heart of Agrigento, which is great for walking to shops and restaurants, or exploring the town. The room was comfortable, with a good shower and big comfy bed. They put out some biscuits and chocolates which was a nice touch. The most exceptional part of the stay though, had to be the breakfast, which was outstanding and kept us both going for the mornings exploring round the valley of temples.

A climb of a lot of steps up to entrance, this was just about ok for us, but would be very difficult for anyone with mobility problems and also carrying luggage. The proprietors are lovely but limited English is spoken, again not a problem for us as only 1 night stay, but if you needed travel/local advice in English for a longer stay it may be.

Lovely clean apartment, spacious, comfy large bed, well situated close to main area of restaurants/cafes/shops etc.. Breakfast was also good.
