Breakfast: unfortunately, since the introduction of COVID-19 restrictions, I have the impression that the solutions implemented in the facilities are not a full-fledged substitute for the breakfast offered before the pandemic. In addition to the coffee/tea, fruit juice, yoghurt and cornflakes offered in the accommodation price, it would be enough to add a portion of fresh bread (delicious rolls in the bakery opposite the main street from which one of the entrances to the facility leads) and a local product in the form of fruit preserves instead of pre-packaged cakes and croissants.

I found the stay successful: the owner was very nice, you can communicate with her in English, the standard of the room corresponded to the offer on Booking, the standard of the bathroom was higher. Everything in the room and bathroom worked flawlessly (which rarely happens in facilities of this category), comfortable beds, tea set in the room, bidet in the bathroom, large towels. The property is small but cosily furnished. At guests' disposal there is a terrace and an equipped kitchen (you can prepare a meal from products purchased by yourself). The property is accessible by lift - a great convenience for travellers with heavy luggage or restricted mobility. Great location - in the very centre of the city, a few minutes walk from the train station.

Room was very spacious, but walls kind of dirty. Big bathroom with towels. Great location, walking distance from the bus stop from the airport and to the old city.

Location very close to the train station in a shopping arcade. Good instructions provided by B&B owner. Elevator available all the way from ground floor to the B&B. Highly secure doors. Whilst compact, the rooms were comfortable with all amenities available, including coffee making facilities. Airconditioning was very good, wifi was excellent. Breakfast was self-service and options like juice, biscuits, cereal, milk and even a dedicated coffee machine were available.

The breakfast is not what me and my friends expected… We expected more than just a yogurt and some small snacks for breakfast, but still the coffee was good.

The property was nice, I mean it was a nice apartment, but everything was very close to one another, such as the kitchen tables. But the terrace was very good.

The host did not seem very welcoming to me, we also had some communication issues since I don’t speak Italian and he did not speak English. The breakfast was not worth the “B&B” - some packaged sweets and Joghurt in the fridge. The room was also very noisy - I could hear everything from the neighboring rooms, common space and outside of the building. There are also no plugs near the bed and the towels were pretty bad quality/ very used up. Next to the cattle in the room there was also an open sugar package from previous guests

The location was perfect for me since it is very close to the station. The room also felt clean.

Fantastic location, less than a 5 minute walk to bus and train station, this b&b is a hidden gem, greeted by a lovely host on arrival, the shared kitchen is a nice touch with tables to sit and eat at, room was great had everything you need for your stay and was spotlessly clean, I cannot recommend b&b Fanzago enough, My son and I had an amazing time here site seeing around Bergamo, train to Milan only cost 18 euros return for us both, Thank you for a great stay.

Nice accommodation, next to the train station but also quite close to Citta Alta (around 30 min of walking). The bus 1 stop to the Airport is also quite close (couple of minutes) - which was helpful because we had an early flight. Breakfast was available in the room, which was a pleasant surprise.

- room smelt really strongly of smoke, the rest of the property didn’t smell of smoke but our room really did. Unsure if this is from previous occupant or from neighbouring properties. - beds were quite hard and uncomfortable (foam not sprung mattress) - only overhead bright lights, no small lamps etc so impossible to relax in the evening. - decor of our room was a very garish bright green, again affected the ability to relax - very student dorm like - understandable if the price was a little bit lower (we paid over 100 euros a night)

There was nothing not to like.

Very central location just a few minutes from bus and train station. Lovely accommodation with all amenities. Will definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it.

Breakfast was disappointing. The b&b was initially difficult to find. Seems that you need to arrive at an exact time which doesn’t take into account hold ups with travel.

Very noisy. The air-condition cannot be used otherwise you will hear the very loud noise from the compressor which makes you awake all night. The room is sentsitive for the noise outside as well. So we cannot sleep all night.

you can hear everything that happens in the common area even early in the morning like making coffe with a very loud coffee machine. At 9.30 on Sunday the cleaning lady started with the vacuum cleaner. You cannot expect to sleep much.
