The room was awful. The bed and pillows were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on. The room and facilities are completely outdated.

Pictures online are a lie. Hotel is run down. Towels are so old they were tattered and torn. Curtain had holes in it w/ velcro pieces to hold it closed, whichever of course were not there. Inch of dust on dresser and bathroom door. The pole in the shower to grab as you get in came out. No one at the front desk had to call and let it ring 15 times before anyone answered. Everything in the room came from Walmart...lamps, bed frame. Telephone plugged in to outlet, but no actual phone chord connected.

Not really upto what is portrait on site cleaning really needs improvement and bedding and towels upgraded plus seemed like they have a lot of transit or maybe seasonal workers but lot of men just hanging around plus was woke out of sleep one night by someone yelling for like 15mis it seemed

The room itself was an odd mix of cosmetically updated components (i.e. the sink) and outdated items (i.e. the HVAC) that dragged down the experience. The HVAC unit sound level was annoying and made it difficult to sleep. The walls had no noise blocking capability and parking lot sounds transmitted with ease as did sound from adjoining rooms. Amenities were sparse; no hair conditioner, thin towels, and no bedspread or extra blankets. Staff service was subpar at the front desk as was the maid service; for example, towels were not completely replaced and desk clerks did not know how to use the computer. It took over fifteen minutes to generate a receipt at check-out.

The size of the room was good and the room was acceptably clean. The location of the facility was good.

They only had two towels for a family of 4 staying, so we had to go up to the front desk for more towels. The remote didn’t work right. To avoid hearing our neighbors we had to leave the air on all night.

The location was nice, but it was still a half hour away from Starved rock. But it was near a Walmart in case you forgot anything.

Could have been cleaner. I don't think the room we were in had been used in a long time. Or cleaned. Breakfast/ice room was disgusting. We don't know if they had breakfast available, would not have wanted it!! The hot water and WIFI are both spotty! Price is a bit high for the quality.

The retro vibe was very cool, old doesn't have to mean dirty though.

I wish I would have known that the deluxe king room - while it DID have a jetted bathtub....did NOT have a shower. Also, the bar was closed....and I was really hoping to have a drink without having to drive to a bar. It's a cool place overall tho for the price. Bed was comfortable.

The check in guy was rude. Gnats in the sink. Needed an extra towel and the man said there's already towels in the room. The shampoo/conditioner dispenser was clearly opened and someone's hands grabbed the conditioner out. There wasn't breakfast.

The bed was kind of comfy, other than that I didn't like anything. Jennifer worked in the morning and she was the only employee I seen smile. Real nice woman :)

I really think that the only thing that made the room handicap accessible was the shower chair in the bathroom and the grab bars in the shower.
