Definitely the best stay we had in this part of Italy. Upon arrival we were greeted by the host that made us feel like we were at home. The breakfast was amazing (freshly baked croissants especially). Truly lovely stay in the middle of wineyards.

The family could have invested some money in the kitchen and made their lives much easier, for example by buying the dishwasher. It was sometimes difficult to communicate in English, so be prepared with a Google translator. Our fault was that we didn't ask about the price of the dinner and were surprised at the checkout.

Staying in this agriturismo you will feel like you are at home with an Italian family). Breakfast is included and you will get coffee, tea, yoghurt and very very tasty Italian croissants. For some price you can dinner as well. From this agriturismo you can reach Siena and its sights very quickly.

Being an ancient building the various floor heights and varying heights of step treads were a bit of a challenge for the more elderly but this was more than made up for by the wonderful atmosphere of a centuries old building. The varying hot water stream was a little disconcerting. Arriving at night the narrow roads and short stretch of gravel road were a bit of an adventure!

Ancient but recently renovated villa in classical Tuscan countryside. Great views. A generous breakfast (good coffee!) catering to a wide range of tastes shared with other guests in a homely kitchen environment. Fresh produce (figs/wine etc) from the estate was a bonus.Above all it was the generosity of the hosts and their obvious pride in their villa and willingness to make our stay as pleasant as possible that shone trough.

super cute place! easy to reach (with a car). enzo was really helpful with our dietary needs. dinner at the property is a must - food is amazing, one of the best meats we ate in italy - good, home made honest food. amazing sunsets, good wine. recommended!

just that down home, country feeling. off a dirt road which really felt like “out in the country”. the views were gorgeous and the went out of their way to set up a table for us to enjoy one of their bottles of wine. The recommendation of the local restaurant was incredibly good. they even made a reservation for us. the breakfast was around a large table which lent itself to that feeling of eating with a big family! There was individual made coffees to order, cheeses, Yougurts, FRESH made croissants, breads, and care. a nice Tuscany stay

The property is in a lovely winey yard. The view is beautiful and the path to get there is stunning. the rooms are very specious and bathrooms too. It is a stay that is simple but feels like home. The highlight,however, was the owner. He welcomed me and my friend SO well. We felt like daughters being welcomed home. He was so friendly, cooked us dinner, showed the property around. His English was intermediate but he was always making an effort to talk to us. The night he cooked us dinner (which was delicious, by the way), he brought a friend that also played typical Italian songs! It felt like a scene of a movie: the company, the food, delicious wine from the property, the songs and the beautiful view. We were so happy and felt so welcomed that tears of joy were shed. I hope some day I can go back with my family so they can experience the best hospitality I ever had.

Nice little Borgo about a 20 mins drive from Gaiole, which given everywhere nearer was booked up for the Eroica event, was a really good option.

Enzo, the boss, is man with a big heart, friendly, very helpful and kind, extra good cook - Italian beef steak and other meal, wine and grappa was great! Guitarist and singer ‘Mick Jagger’ in duo with Enzo make evening unforgettable! Excellent!

In the garden there is a small pool and jacuzzi but it should be maintained better so that anyone can make use of it.

The location is perfect, it is in the middle of Tuscan hills sorrounded by nature with fantastic views. The place itself is a historical monastry, it's unique and full of marks of history. Owners put a lot of effort to renovate it. Owners are lovely people. The communication in English is limited but still they are a lovely couple that can prepare a dinner for you, you can eat it together. During all the meals you can feel a family atmospher for example sitting at the common table. You can get home wine from the owners or eat fruits from the trees. Rooms are huge, beds are comfortable and it's a great spot for visiting Tuscany.

From the location to the rooms, the view from the rooms and the staff, everything was exceptional. The host cooked dinner for us and it was one of the best foods i’ve ever eaten in my life. Also, there was a man that came to play the guitar for us (one of their friends). Incredible days, I cannot recommend this place enough.

The windows did not have mosquito nets- we had taken with us the electric mosquito repellent so we had no problems but good for you to be prepared, just in case.

The atmosphere was really welcoming. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We had the chance to have dinner there and it was great because basically all the guests were sitting at a huge table as if we were a big family. We had chance to talk to get to know each others and kids also made new friends. Our room was huge (actually they were 2 rooms together) and had windows on the valley. The building itself was in good conditions and clean. The building is in the countryside: very silent (but also far from shops or any other service). Btw, our navigator did not show us the way till the building and "stopped" a few hundred meters before so we were "lost" for a while... if you write the name in google maps, it will show the precise location. In the night, wild boars came nearby the parking lots... kids were quite excite to look at them.
