Location of the place is gray with beautiful sunsets that we enjoy from our room every evening. Breakfast is varied and tasty, prepared by Isabella every morning fresh. We have recently returned from a 4 day stay at Casa Della Madonna, Palagio. A hidden gem in the Tuscan hills. Spectacular views from every angle which will stay with us forever. Our hosts Gianluca and Isabella were wonderful, helpful, kind and made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. They invited us to eat with them a number of times and Isabella's cooking was superb. Gianluca's knowledge of the area was invaluable. Casa Della Madonna is a beautiful property with a pool, covered terraces and beautiful gardens with olive and peach trees. Gianluca grows many vegetables including courgettes and tomatoes. Our room was spacious as was the bathroom and we also had the use of the kitchen. Spotlessly clean throughout. Isabella prepared and made breakfast each morning. Delicious. We were 2 of 6 guests staying. Chris and Aline from Belgium were a lovely couple and on our last evening they. Gianluca, Isabella and ourselves met in a local village and had a beautiful meal together. A fitting end to what was an incredible 4 days in Tuscany. Beautiful farm in the hills. Very peaceful. Amazing views. Clean and comfortable rooms. Plenty of space in the garden with different areas to enjoy and relax in. The hosts are social and generous, and they really make an effort to give you a great experience. You can tell they've put a lot of heart and thought into this place.

We had the best Time at Casa della Madonna. When we first arrived an the property it took our breath away. The View is incredible and you can feel how much love and detication is put into this Place bye the Owners. The House and our Room and Bathroom were very comfortable and clean. The Breakfast was so good and fresh every Morning and if you would like, you could get the best Tips and Locations for your Day in beautiful Tuscany. The Swimmingpool area was also very nice and the view was stunning and relaxing. The View over the Farm and the Olivetrees are amazing and you can feel the special energy. Thank you Gianluca and Isabella, we will never forget the Trip and our Time at your special Place.

I don't like that we spent only 5 days here...

Fantastic and kindly hosts with open hearts made us feel very welcome. Atmosphere, the entire vibe was amazing and exceeded our imaginations. We got a lot of helpful tips and advices about interesting and worth seeing places in Tuscany region. The breakfasts was totally delicious, always fresh, made from local ingredients. Location for us was perfect, heart of Tuscany and the view of a valley, what can I say, just WOW - PARADISE. Room and bathrom were clean, everything what we needed was available for use. Beautiful and authentic B&B in the middle of nature. The kind owners Gianluca and his wife Isabella were very welcoming and took good care of us. Isabella prepared a big, delicious breakfast every morning. Gianluca gave us tips for activities. They were interesting and fun to talk to, since they travelled a lot and had many stories to share. Also, we loved their dog and cat. The house is well equipped and we were able to use the kitchen. And the view from the property is simply stunning!

For me it wasn't a big deal, but the road to the apartment is quite narrow curvy and steep, so it is advised to be comfortable with your car and maybe not have a too big one.

The house owner lives nearby and shares very valuable information if you tell him where you want to go and the location is very good if you want to make day trips into Florence, Siena or other towns in Tuscany. The apartment is very clean and well taken care of.

it’s amazing villa in Tuscan style! outside of the village, so you have just nature around. the owners are incredible people who have so much to offer. if you are not looking the party, but peace, if you want to change the city’s chaos for the amazing Tuscan experience that is definitely your place! Gianluca will help you organize the trips to those more touristic places but also recommend local villages and towns where you can feel the Italian atmosphere all around. Isabella is preparing Italian style breakfast but don’t hesitate to ask about more continental style.

Honestly nothing apart from the short length of our stay. This house and its hosts deserve a stay of at least multiple (4-5) days.

Gianluca and Isabella were incredibly kind and welcoming people. Even though we only stayed with them for two nights, we had an incredible experience. From the first moment when we were greeted with a wonderful glass of rosé we felt comfortable and at home. Gianluca is a colourful, well-traveled and generous host, and Isabella is one of the sweetest and kindest ladies we have ever met. During our (too short) stay we shared many wonderful tales and we can truly say we have had an exceptional stay. The house is colourful and filled with life, both from the items collected during travel as well as the stories that they represent. We look forward to staying for a much longer time in the future. When we first arrived, we were immediately amazed by the view. We then met Gianluca and Isabella (the owners) and it felt as if we were at home. One can spent all the days just by staying at the property by the pool and relaxing, which is something we plan doing next time we will visit the place. We enjoyed a lot the time spent while having long discussions around life with Gianluca, with him and Isabella showing us what hospitality means and that was one more reason we felt it was hard to leave this unique place. The dog, Mira, and the cat, Misha, were another highlight of our stay. We will definitely come back!

We've been traveling around Italy for 2 weeks and Casa Della Madonna was the best stay we had. Gianluca and Isabella are exceptional hosts. Isabella makes delicious breakfasts that are varied, balanced, and simply the best. Gianluca is a living encyclopedia! He will answer any question about Tuscany and Italy. He plans the best trips for his guests by suggesting not only the beauty spots of Tuscany but also less popular spots which you can't find in guides. He's also a great companion for long conversations. The guesthouse itself is beautiful. You can feel the Tuscany vibe a lot. It's located in a beautiful neighborhood with a stunning view (be ready for sunset wine on the terrace!). And the pool, boy, we had so much fun. We spent there only 3 nights but this place is already special to us. It is located in the beautiful Tuscany nature. You can enjoy amazing views. We especially liked the owners, they were very welcoming and made sure we felt like home. It was one of the best experiences we had so far in Italy. I hope we will come back one day.
