“Massimo only gives good advice” NOTHING!!! Wouldn’t chance a thing.

We came as guests and we left as friends. Such a privilege to be in his home, and Massimo couldn’t have been more helpful! When we was out and about we could text him and he tried to help best he could. A very nice welcome, rooms perfect size for 2. Bed was very nice. We had a balcony, what more do you need. We hired a car and was well worth it and had space to park in his garage. Only 10 min drive from Varenna, after a day around people it was so nice to come back to peace with a fantastic view and a glass of wine on the balcony. Breakfast was home cooked and theee best bacon I’ve had. Tips: - get a pizza from the local, delivered. - go every day to the gelato shop 1 min walk. - after breakfast leave early, beat the crowds.

Massimo’s B&B was the perfect location - so close to the station so it was very convenient for when we took day trips to Milan or wanted to do ferry trips around the lake. The B&B was very clean and easy to find on arrival. We have no complaints and would definitely stay here again!

First of all, Massimo. The best host and the kindest person ever!!! He helped with everything, like ordering us dinner from a local pizzeria, tips for daily trips (in the room there was like a book filled with tour and trip options, in 4 different language, which is beyond perfect). The breakfast was also made by Massimo, lot of options, big portions, best way to start a day. The room and the whole building was the cleanest I've ever seen. Everything was clean, just like the pictures, big room, perfect balcony with lake view. The train station was 3 minutes walk from the building, which is very comfortable. If we ever have a chance to visit Lake Como again, we will definetely come back to this place! Thank you again for the perfect stay Massimo! :)

A bit too quiet for us but we stayed in November which wasn't surprising. An earlier check-in would have been nice.

The views from the terrace were absolutely stunning. Host Massimo was super helpful and breakfast was excellent. Bed was also super comfortable.

Casa della Musica is in a lovely quiet location, but close to the village bar, gelateria, lake and train station. The room had everything needed and was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was superb and more than we expected. There was certainly more than enough food served in a lovely room with fantastic views. Massimo, the host is lovely and did did everything he could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He made time upon our arrival to sit with us and point out places to go and how to get there. He was so helpful. Would not hesitate to go back.

Everything. Due to a 4 hours flight delay we arrived at the property at 1 o’clock in the morning and was greeted by a smiling (tired) Massimo. Nothing was too much for him and he was a great host throughout our stay.

Everything was amazing

Remarkable place in a small village there we stayed for a few days. Calm and quiet. Car parking is available. Breathtaking view of Como lake, especially on sunrise from balcony. Nice and cozy room with all necessary equipment, soft bed, kettle, fridge. Unforgettable breakfast was made every morning by the host Massimo who btw was much helpful for us to navigate through local sightseeing. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and we would be happy to return some day.

Terrific B&B with spectacular views, excellent tasty breakfasts incorporating eggs, pastries, fruits, meats and cheeses and our particularly friendly and accommodating host Massimo and his cousin Fabio. On warmer days he made sure the air conditioning was on before we arrived back. Beds were comfy and the rooms immaculately clean. This beautiful, peaceful village, is a small number of miles away from popular but more crowded lakeside destinations and very convenient by train or car. You may request to park in the garage. A wealth of information is provided in different languages on nearby beaches, bars, restaurants, shops, gelateria, attractions, trips by boat or cable car. Massimo is attentive in helping with queries, suggesting the most appropriate activities to suit different ages, abilities and weather conditions. This helped us to find walks incorporating sites of local culture, nature, waterfalls and viewpoints and much more. The karaoke on the beach Massimo suggested was a particular highlight.

Nothing, it was a great place to stay!

Massimo was an excellent host and immediately made us feel welcome. Nothing was too much for him and Fabio and we had a great stay. Breakfast was lovely and extensive, the room was spotlessly clean and the location was perfect - quiet, friendly and within a minute of a beach and the train station, which enabled us to easily visit many places on the lake and around. We would love to visit again in the future!

I had a marvelous time at Casa Della Musica. Massimo is a wonderful host, always ready to help and advise, making my stay as comfortable as possible. The view of the lake and mountains from the balcony of the room combined with the peace and tranquility of the location made it a perfect base for exploring this gorgeous part of Lake Como. To start the day Massimo serves an excellent breakfast. If possible I will soon return.

everything was great!

I know that people usually do not read long essays so I try to make it short. Everything what has been written before about Massimo and his hospitality is 100% true. He is a great host who makes your stay pleasant since crossing a B&B Casa della Musica threshold. At the very beginning we received a bunch of useful information, where to eat, how commute, what to see. Furthermore there was a guideline prepared by Massimo with places to visit, restaurants and even allergens in served breakfast. Since I’m writing about breakfast - they were great. You shouldn’t be disappointed. Coffee, scramble eggs with bacon, yoghurt, cheese, local ham, croissants. Everything fresh and served in sufficient portions. The B&B is located 150 meters from the beach which is almost deserted. There were not more than 20 people during a day. The B&B was extremally clean. Massimo made beds every day, clean the floor and toilets. When we need something we texted him on Whatsapp and he tried to helped us immediately. It was a wonderful holiday among other thing thanks to him. I recommend visiting Casa della Musica to all of you who like spending time in a nice atmosphere, far away from crowds.
