Everything was great. No complaint at all.

Excellent location, in the heart of the old city. The apartment was superb. Fully renovated and equipped, ideal for as many as 3-4 people. The owner Gianmauro was one of the most hospitable hotel and apartment owner i have ever met!!! He also runs a lovely shop with magnificent selection of Italian wines and local foodstuffs in great prices. Highly recommended Can't wait to visit again! Iason from Athens

No air conditioning. There was a fan but it wasn’t very powerful and we got bitten by mosquitos when we opened the windows.

Lots of steps up to the top floor which we hadn’t been aware of but our host Mauro was very helpful and even helped us to move our bags to the ground floor apartment which was easier for us although smaller.

Excellent location just 3 min walk to the Cathedral in the main square ‘Piazza Vecchia’ Such a historic place to enjoy all the fantastic sites so close by and the views from of bell tower from the upper floor ….amazing. The towels and bedding were changed every day

The location of the guest house is fantastic; situated in the old town of Bergamo immediately adjacent to the museums, churches and restaurants. The room was spacious, spotless and lovely and cool in the summer heat. It is very secure and quiet and our stay was very pleasant. The host was extremely helpful and made us feel welcome. We would recommend and return.

The bells were a bit too much, but uts not the hotels fault of course! We would have loved a balcony but I suppose its impossible in this part of the town. There could have been some shampoo and body wash in the room.

Bed was great, and location in Old Town, we could walk anywhere and get easily down to New town with the stairs or funicular. We liked the private breakfast, garden, security gate, and rooms were beautiful, as well as the whole building, wow!

It was a little bit dusty but we weren't that bothered. The bathroom is not very sound proof.

We loved our apartment, it was really well located in the old town, near to cafes, the basilica and only 2 mins walk from the funicular to get down to the centre of Bergamo. The apartment itself was beautiful and historic. We enjoyed sitting in the garden underneath the grapevines. The apartment felt private and spacious. The shower had good pressure and there was lots of towels available. We were woken each day by the bells from the Basilica, which we thought was charming but others may not as they are very loud!

There are three breakfasts offered. I opted for the most simple: orange juice, freshly baked bread rolls, marmalade and coffee. All excellent €4. Location was excellent. In the centre of things, less than five minutes from the funicular. Cathedral and Basilica two minutes. My one bed apartment was on the second floor. I had access the balcony which led in to a terrace and a lovely little garden. I had a fridge; our host has wines, olive oils , pasta for sale. He is very helpful- when I was going to visit the tremendous art gallery in the lower town he took me down in his car. My fellow guests were pleased to have found such a place.

The description of my apartment said there was a balcony. That was not the case. It was also said that there was channel tv, but you only had the possibility of watching italian channels. Some other things missed according to the description, for example a microwave oven, a desk etc. but that did not mean so much to me. You must be aware that the old town of Bergamo can be very crowded, especially in the weekends. And as other guests have observed the bells of the churches will ring very loudly at 7.30 in the morning.

The location of the apartment is perfect if you wish to stay in the center of the old town of Bergamo. In spite of the central location there is no traffic noise. I did not take the breakfast so I can't rank it. I had a two room apartment on the second floor. You have access to a small garden that you share with the family who lives there and other guests.
