The room was very modest and the bathroom extremely small.

It was a 15 minute walk to the central tourist area. We enjoyed being out of the overcrowded and noisy area, but some may find this less convenient.

I really enjoyed the building and the grounds. The building has a majestic stone staircase that was reminiscent of a 15th century villa. There was a beautiful courtyard, and we enjoyed drinking a glass of wine there. At the end of the day. Our room looked out over a plaza, and the windows opened so we could look out over the plaza. Breakfast was included and was excellent.

This is a church-run establishment therefore no frills but a good value. It is in a quiet part of Florence and a 10 -15 min walk to all the sites. Parking is available which is a huge plus for car travelers.

Bathroom was external (but private). Our room was above the square, very noisy at night, difficult to sleep with the window open.

Everything was perfect!

Excellent location, the building is super quiet and extremely clean, the rooms are minimalist but perfectly comfortable! The staff is also super nice! The experience is great if you look for the perfect balance between safe, clean, nice, quiet place to stay and value for money. It is located just nearby the piazza Santo spirito where you can find very good restaurants and bars.

The breakfast was a little too simple, but not bad.

This place is amazing if you are traveling with a large family. We have four kids so finding a single hotel room in Italy is very difficult, but we were able to get a single room with five beds and a pack n play. The room was very simple, just the beds and a bathroom, but it was large and airy with high ceilings and spotlessly clean. The grounds are beautiful and the location is great. The breakfast was very simple but it was fine. Overall it’s not a luxurious place but it is very nice, very comfortable, super clean and a really great base for exploring Florence. We also appreciated that they had parking that was able to accommodate the van we rented, which isn’t always possible in Italy especially in the old sections of towns.

The mosquitoes were a pain in the evening, as the windows don't have screens. Location, for the most part, is rather quiet... but many ambulances seemed to be going all throughout the nights we were there.

Staff were SUPER kind and helpful. They provided maps and took time to explain good places to visit. The breakfast was very well done and the gentleman that was in charge of waiting on tables, clean-up and restocking did a nice job. The room was a good size for a family.

The beds weren't very comfy - they could definitely provide better/more pillows and blankets. The breakfast was great, but when we arrived for breakfast the first day it was almost completely finished and they didn't restock anything, so if you want to get some breakfast, go early!

The building and rooms were really beautiful. The location was great too. The views over the garden from the room were beautiful.

Not that much choice at breakfast, there were chickpeas, which was good, but no boiled eggs, and the croissants were a bit off. Some of the fixtures in the bathroom were showing signs of wear.

As other reviews have noted, sound does travel from one room to another. Didn't bother us, as our neighbors were quiet. Doesn't have high end amenities, but you don't go to Florence to spend time in the hotel fitness center.

Very nice to be in Oltrarno (across the river from the craziness of the main tourist sites), but easy walking distance to everything, plus there are many nearby restaurants and bars (we highly recommend Le Volte Firenze). And if the timing is right for you, don't miss the Brancacci Chapel (Masaccio's breakthrough frescos), right on the same square as the hotel.

No iron available , no fridge in the room, no tea or coffee making although coffee and cold drink machine in the lobby. Wanted late checkout til 11am but refused. Room was entered by cleaner at 9am although checkout at 10am

Twin bead was a bit narrow.

Very quiet and peaceful. Staff was very helpful and polite .While not a luxury hotel, it was exceptionally clean and even smelled nice!

Location was fantastic. We had a car, so it was excellent to park the car for the 2 days (at a cost) and walk in Florence. Breakfast had many options.
