The noise from out the front was pretty loud at points as building work nearby was taking place.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, there's not much I didn't like. To be extremely picky, it might have been nice to have a separate oven, or perhaps instructions on how to use the grill/oveny features of the microwave, and the TV in the lounge was a little small to see well without my glasses. The front door is a little tricky to operate and the handle on the inside is a bit loose. But all in all would definitely recommend a stay here.

Vittoria was an excellent host. It was nice meeting her onsite and having her take us through the apartment. Check in was easy - once we got to the apartment we buzzed the Casa Roma button and she met us on level 5. There is an old style lift which is great for luggage but very tight. The apartment is beautifully decorated which gives a really comfortable and homely feel. The kitchen and laundry is well stocked with everything you need including things that are often forgotten like bottle openers. Nice little touches like a few snacks and drinks were appreciated. Having two bathrooms plus an extra toilet was very convenient, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, comfortable and clean with an excellent layout. Location is great, nice area and easy walks to places like the Colosseum and Trevi fountain. Restaurants and small supermarkets close by.

I’m reluctant to comment too much as this was an exceptional apartment and from a selfish point of view I would want it to be available whenever I go back to Rome! There are two large en suite suites, with a dressing area to both and good quality bathrooms attached (plus a separate cloakroom/toilet elsewhere in apartment). very comfortable, supersized beds in both bedrooms with good quality bedding. smallish sitting area and kitchen /dining area plus separate utility with dishwasher and washing machine.

Shower head in one bedroom needed changing. Just clogged a bit. Slight leak at base of shower in other bedroom. But 2 very minor issues.

Street parking was hard to come by

Location is good only street parking lots are hard to come by. But we managed to always park about 5 minute walk away. Apartment is spacious and we love the rustic deco.

Honestly, there was nothing we did not like! I am being very picky here simply to answer this question, but considering the apartment is so big and can easily sleep 5 people, I'd reckoned some more dishes and cups.

The location was excellent; it was about 10-15 minutes walking distance from all the sights, Piazza Venezia, Colosseum, Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps, it is located in the hip neighbourhood of Monti and there were dozens of restaurants and cafes on every little street! It was fantastic just to walk around the charming little streets. Vittoria and Anna Lisa were extremely helpful and responsive via WhatsApp. Thank you to both!

AC throughout the apartment was very weak, making it a bit hot. Outlets in one of the bedrooms did not work and there was a leak in the bathroom.
