It was very clean and tidy. A kitchen area was available which was very useful, including a fridge. The swimming pool was a real bonus and very clean.

Mosquitoes. They love me. The feeling is not mutual. Didn't seem to affect any other guests though so very much a niche issue.

I cannot rate this property highly enough. We could tell from the pictures that the apartment would be attractive but we dd not expect how spacious it was - our daughter had a mini-suite all of her own. The decor was stylish in a really original style - it felt as though a lot of love had gone into the choices made. The facilities were excellent - better than we have at home in some cases (on-tap sparkling water) and the kitchen in particular was really well-set up - perfect for someone who loves cooking. There were even really good recycling faculties which was great to see. Views incredible - pool sparking clean and a really good size. We didn't have the breakfast but I could see what was laid out for other guests and it looked delicious. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and we felt very much at home - seeing dogs welcomed so warmly was a bonus. Alba itself is beautiful and a really vibrant place - you could find lots of sights to see if that is your bag (or just stuff yourselves with coffee and filled croissants which is more my style).

Property is in beautiful location. The gardens are lovely. The pool is great, good size and spotlessly clean. The apartment was also beautifully clean and very comfortable with good facilities. Emanulea and Claudio are great hosts, they are so friendly and helpful, they are just lovely people. We also loved their dog Betty. :)

The doors are thin so noise in the common area of other neighbors can be easily heard, if they’re loud.

Close to Alba, but still outside of town and away from the noise. Nicely designed—contemporary, clean aesthetic with touches of antique/vintage items, e.g doors. Bed was very comfortable.

it would be convenient to be able to exit the room to the seating area directly instead of via the kitchen/common area.

We had the most perfect stay at Casa Silvana. Claudio & Maria are wonderful hosts and helped us with everything we needed, such as booking wine tasting and taxis and giving restaurant recommendations. The place itself is so beautiful with interesting details all around. Wonderful garden to relax in and have Maria’s delicious breakfast, with amazing views over the vineyards. The location is also perfect - just minutes away from Alba center with car, but very peaceful and relaxing. Pool area is also super nice and spacious. Book this place, you won’t regret it! We will surely be back. :)

Our apartment consisted of the living quarters with a mezzanine bedroom above, accessed by a metal staircase. The stairs were a little awkward and designed with a lip at the rear of each step whcih it was too easy to catch your heel on.

Beautiful conversion of old rural building in a great location in the hills on the edge of Alba. Excellent vey clean swimming pool with wonderful views of the surroundings. Apartment was very spacious with comfy beds, two bathrooms and well furnished kitchen. The furnishings throughout were comfortable and good quality. Effective air-con and good wifi. Plenty of parking, although the access road quite steep and narrow , if that bothers you. The hosts were extremely pleasant and welcoming.

A great room with great decor and a very comfortable bed. I travel with my big dog and he was very welcome in this place so is a great plus. The host was good and suggested some great places to go and eat. I will definitely came back. Thank you

Location, room, appliances and swimming pool all perfect, within 10 min from the center of Alba and nearby the important wine areas. Moreover, the host has very good recommendations for dinner and wine tours nearby! Definitely recommend this place for your stay in the Piemonte

Claudio is top. He will make you feel like home. He upgraded us to large room simply because there was availability. Breakfast is rich and tasty with selection of cold cuts, cheeses, fruits, cakes, amazing coffee, jam and we had fresh peach juice made from peaches from Claudio’s garden. We had breakfast in the garden every day looking at the wine yards. House has a very distinct feel, with attention to details, very clean and the collection of books give it a unique feel. Bathroom is huge and very clean with marble chosen for sink and other decors. Bedroom was huge with old refurbished wooden doors. Overall a distinct look with a modern touch. Loved it! Swimming pool area is very clean and we had great time using it. Incredible to have this in the middle of Piedmont. Bed is super comfortable and you’ll sleep like a baby especially if you top up with some wine :) This is the place to stay if you want to relax somewhere quiet from the tourist cohorts but still close to Piedmont’s best. Claudio also can help with tips on where to eat, drink or do wine tasting.
