This isn’t a dislike, as we weren’t planning on cooking, but the suite was advertised with a kitchen , and although there was a kitchen with a stove, a kettle, 2 coffee mugs, 2 spoons, and fridge, there were no other dishes, glasses, silverware, or cooking utensils.

We really enjoyed our stay here, although it was much too short. It only took 10 minutes to walk there from the free shuttle bus that transported us from the Lumbi Car Parking Lot to the nearest bus stop to Casa Turrisi. We loved the location: right in the heart of the action and close to the Ancient Greek Theater. Communication from the host was excellent. She met us at the door and showed us in. Our room, #1, was a suite. It had a living area downstairs with 2 balconies and the bedroom and bathroom were upstairs. There was a table on each balcony and 2 chairs that we took out from the suite a placed on the balcony. We enjoyed drinking our tea and looking at the people walking below. Inside, the suite was nicely appointed and very clean. Our bed was comfortable and despite being in the center of the action, our room was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast was served between 8-10 a.m. on the terrace on the top floor of the building and what a great view!

Despite its charming setting in Italy, the breakfast at this hotel falls short compared to others in the region, lacking variety and quality. Additionally, the lack of soundproofing detracts from the overall experience.

The room was a little small, but it wasn’t too much of a problem.

Very centrally located in the heart of touristy Taormina and yet it was peaceful and quiet in the room. Excellent double glazing that soundproofed the room. And air conditioning kept the room at a comfortable temperature. Our host Santi was very helpful.

Bathroom needs repairment, some tiles missing, shower cubicle did not keep water inside, slight smell of mould. Upstairs breakfast room terrace was not open.

Excellent location right in the heart of old town Taormina, easy check-in / check-out. Famous BamBar cafeteria downstairs for local breakfast.

They don’t let you use the kitchenette in the room. (They should of electricity in kitchen so you can’t use it)

The shower didn't work very well and leaked water into the bathroom, but the pressure was really good. If I had to pick something it would be that.

The property looks newly renovated with a really nice kitchenette. It's very clean and in an excellent location.

Only thing I would change is the soft bed. I am a big guy (105 kg). Would have liked a bit harder bed. Would still visit again and sleep couple of nights in this bed.

It is in the heart of Taormina, near wonderful restaurants and shopping.

The soundproofing is very bad. We woke up in the middle of the night because of an alarm from the neighbours apparently and the we woke up again at 7:00 am because we could hear everything that was happening in the building.

The room is very clean, it’s in a good, nice location. The breakfast it’s on the roof so the view it’s quite beautiful.

Luciana was beyond accommodating and lovely and supportive in every way. She made our stay exceptional. Our room was lovely, comfortable, clean, and bright. It had all the right touches, including reading lamps on both sides of the bed, a delightful shower, a delicious breakfast each morning on the roof deck with amazing views of Mt. Etna and the town, and more. The location is amazing, too. Just a short walk from the main avenue but quiet and close to everything, including great restaurants and the ancient theater. Really, we are so grateful for having had the opportunity to stay at Casa Turrisi in beautiful Taormina.

We had Nothing to complain about.

The breakfast was excellent - croissants, fruit, yogurt, coffee, ham and cheese. The location was great. It was just off the main shopping street of Taromina, but close to it.

We communicated via wats up messages, We never saw anyone there. It would be good to have coffee/ tea maker in the room. It would be great to have a life person to communicate with.
