The host gave us the best room with the view of the Como Lake. The stay was excellent. Room was small but very nice, quiet and clean. We really enjoyed the view from the window and from the garden as well. It was very nice one -night stay. The host was great! We came in the late afternoon and we didn't had a lunch so he offered us some food- bread with bresaola & cheese, coffee and some oranges from his farm from Sicily. We totally recommend this place to others!

I liked the staying. It does take about 25 mins of walking during the day or about 40 mins during the evening time to climb uphill but that's what I needed so it was not a problem for me. There is a bus but it doesn't go very often.

It is a lovely place with a stunning view, beautifully designed and the facilities in the house. Perfect for chilling and relaxing. Even though the house in the rural area, it has everything you need in the house. it takes about 20 minutes to get to a more lively area with restaurants and a big shop. A nice restaurant is just 3 mins walking from the house.

We booked very late in the evening but the host organised everything very quickly. Livio just is the best host you can wish during your stay in Como. The room was very clean and cosy. We still cannot believe what we saw, the view is just breathtaking. Waking up to a wonderful lake of Como, sounds of birds, in the middle of mother nature. We bought some lemons and limes from the garden of Livio’s. We immediately started to organise our next stay before leaving. This place is a piece from heaven.. Livio; if your read this - Grazie mille Amigo!!

There was a dead fly on the window sill but no worries we removed it. I expected the room to be slightly bigger but we made it work.

Nearby a lot of mosquitoes, I recommend u to take spray or smth. But I didn’t care a lot about this thing, because views compensate it) Also hotel is a bit far away from city Mandello , and u will need to make 30-40min walk up. But walk was through the nice streets and places and was not so big problem. But better to have a car)

Authentic place, incredible views, pleasant owner, who took care about our accommodation and offered to cook a dinner for us, as we came in the evening. U live in the farm and a lot of green. Very peaceful place.

We came in late and the host was accommodating, asked us if we were hungry, brought us a drink. The room was clean, bed comfortable. The vies are gorgeous. It’s so peaceful and magical there. Breakfast provided for additional small price. I recommend staying there several days to soak up the beauty of the place and rest.

That we couldn't stay longer 😢

Livio is the most wonderful person. What he has achieved with his bare hands is incredible. He is a one man army and obviously very dedicated, super hard working and very talented in anything he puts his mind to. I think Livio could easily turn this Agri-turismo property into a Boutique B&B with some expenditure on luxury items like linens & towels, upmarket fittings & quality lighting. I think the return on investment would be well worth it, in such a beautiful hand-crafted property. However, I also think Livio deserves to take a well earned rest and to take some time-out to enjoy the fruits of his labour. Bravo Livio but you need to slow down and let others do some of the heavy lifting for you👏🏻

Finding it was difficult. After looking lost, one of the neighbors got on her Vespa and drove us to the correct spot.

The owner made the property. We arrived late and he waited, even made us reservations at a restaurant so we didn’t have to worry. He greeted us with a meat and cheese tray, beer and wine.

wanted to stay longer ,you will need GPS to get there ,what made matters worse for me was my phone was not working properly to use it -- make shure when you travel overseas check provider performance of service and you have a fully opperating phone !!

Up on the hillside overlooking mandello owner of property Livio Scurria was very accomadating excelent of information about town and sroundings,property located on working farm and olive orchard . when you are there pic up some of his own olive oil . also great information about Moto Guzzi he is long time resadent of mandello

Absolutely need to have car to enjoy the location because it's Far from everything like market and restaurants. But it has lake view and was beautiful. It was a restaurant nearby but was not open in dinner and lunch time 😒

There were some minor wifi problems, but it ended up well.

It was a really enjoyable stay, if you go there you must try the smallest room on top with the most amazing view at night and day. I enjoyed my stay there so much, it was very inspiring, I could finally exhale and relax in the middle of nature.

Really nice staff who went the extra mile, the small room with the big window had an amazing view (I guess the smallest one has the best view). Really close to many beautiful hiking tracks. Pretty easy to walk up the hill from the train station also with luggage (less than 3 kilometres to both Mandello del Lario and Olcio, tickets best to buy online). Hot water in the shower. Breakfast okay. Restaurant 50 meters from hotel. Grocery store less than 2 kilometers. A/C in the room > not cold!!
