we had room 303 on the corner of the building in front of the parking spaces. That created noise now and then. Especially staff seems to use the parking as a gathering place. does impact feeling of privacy negatively.

breakfast was good. the variety of bread though could be better.

The ambient in the room... no AC, and the heating system was always on, and you can hardly control. My nights were not good as i couldn't sleep in this weather.The bed sheet was not clean, and it has dirty spots.

Restaurant service let down the quality of the food. You would have to repeatedly ask for drinks. Not very observant staff but would put that down to experience as most very young. Noisy room above pool despite being junior suite. Dogs allowed in restaurant so had to put up with constant barking during evening meal.

I had some email exchanges with someone in reservation on getting a room quote for a suite but when I asked to book it she was out of the office for two days and when she came back the room was booked by someone else. I asked for her to keep me on the waiting list in case someone cancels but we never heard back. So instead I persistently stalked booking.com to see if something would open up and it did so that is the reason we booked through this website as opposed as direct to the hotel. I sometimes am skeptical about doing that for very $$$ hotels because in my experience hotels give better room preferences to direct booking guests versus via third party......but anyway... It was very hot the week I stayed in Limone. The rooms never were cooked below 23.5 - 24 c degrees. The general manager said it is because they have an air exchange system that works with other rooms on the floor based on current temp and humidity and time of day. I’ve stayed in similar hotels with this in Europe but they were hotels more in the north like Germany as opposed to sunny and hot areas with 35 c degrees. Day time was less of a problem because we were out and about on the town but we were warm when we were sleeping and would wake up at 5am hot and uncomfortable. As a working single mom who had her first vacation since the pandemic (and who was already exhausted) I was not too happy about not getting the sleep I needed on my trip. I will mention that I did rise the issue three times and spoke with the GM but there was nothing that could be done. The Airpool also did not work on the first night of our stay but the GM had it fixed the next day. We were offered a nice bottle of champagne but while I did not push for it I thought it would have been more appropriate to offer back the delta costs of the base room and the suite with Airpool considering the only reason we booked the suite (paying an extra 300 eur to have it). I have mixed feelings about my stay.

Amazing location and service. Amazing front desk staff, restaurant and bar staff, cleaning staff and pool staff and the valet. They all could not be happier to try to help you have a nice stay. Everyone had such sweet personalities and was so friendly and gracious and lovely. The private beach on the lake was wonderful. The pool was clean and very nice. Breakfast was fantastic. Everything was spotlessly clean. Bed comfortable and our terrace was lovely. Rooftop cocktail terrace was nice but very dark and quiet. I would say that the people working hard (I don’t remember everyone names!!!) in the front desk (Simone), valet (Mirko), the restaurant (The hostess, our tall waiter who was married to a French girl, Luca, the maitre ‘d/head server) were all lovely. Keep up the very kind and wonderful service!!!
