A small hotel which was within walking distance of many attractions and the Termini station - great for when we had to get the metro to the Vatican. The interior is older but the room was a good size and clean.

On arrival in Rome we got a message to say the booking had been cancelled. We were not happy! However on talking to the owner she offered an alternative location. She then met us at the original address, and we drove 10 minutes away to the other hotel. It was fine. Why she didn't just send us a change of address without giving us so much stress I don't know. The new hotel was a little further away - but not too bad. Apart from the hiccup at the beginning it was all fine.

The hotel was great, and the kitchen well stocked for a DIY breakfast. Lots to like. Perfectly clean, enough towels and soap etc.

Location is excellent, you can reach all the attractions by feet, main train station is round the corner. Staff is very friendly and responsive, so nice people. Bed linen and towels are very clean, changed every day. Room was air-conditioned.

2* hotel, don't expect too much. Very old hotel. The wifi signal was very poor. The hotel is old and the price is just crazy for this. You pay just for the good location. The breakfast wasn't really breakfast. Only coffee, tea and juice available at the reception and a little croissant wrapped in plastic. So I wouldn't call this "breakfast", but just "snacks", but ok, better than nothing! You can hear other guests in the other rooms, the walls are not very sound-proof.

The location is great, very close to everything. We like walking, so we were able to walk almost everywhere (except for the Vatican). The staff was very kind and helpful!!! Everything was clean, we got new towels every day!

I can see why other people would complain and we only stayed for one night, but found it pleasant enough.

The staff were nice. It took a while for her to let us in but we were quite late so it is understandable. The room was a bit small and hot, but ours was not smelly or too dirty as other people have reported. Location is very central and they let us leave our bags after check-out.

There is nothing i could not like because the most important for me is the Airconditioned and the bed for sleeping.

My experience was slightly marred by a few issues within the room itself. The most prominent was a peculiar, albeit not unpleasant, strong smell that pervaded the space. I found this smell a bit overwhelming, and it might be something the management should look into to enhance the comfort of their guests. Additionally, the room's ventilation system left a lot to be desired. A more efficient ventilation or air conditioning system would have improved the room's atmosphere considerably, making the stay more comfortable, especially in Rome's warm season.

I had the privilege of staying in this unique Roman establishment during my recent visit to Italy. One of the standout aspects of my stay was undoubtedly the prime location of this property, allowing easy access to the multitude of Rome's iconic sights. It was truly a pleasure to explore the historic city, with all its splendor within a few minutes' walk or short commute. Furthermore, I was thoroughly impressed with the level of professionalism and politeness exhibited by the staff. They were always ready to assist and made a positive impact on my overall experience.

Paid for breakfast that was jocke. Coffe, tea, juice 1 croissant per person Dust was in corners, on shelves, walls were paper if someone was watching tv we could hear everything.
