The mattress was a little bit uncomfortable and the elevators are really slow

When we arrived they upgraded us to a suite with a lake view, it was great! The location is about 2 min walk to the lake. Great staff and the breakfest is rich and you have many choices

This is not really a negative thing, but something that could be improved/updated - the lift. There is just one for the entire hotel and it is very slow. There is no rush because it is usually for people on vacation, but it can become a bit annoying.

Staff was really nice and helpful. Room was comfortable and spacious and location is perfect if you want to enjoy the lake beach and easy walk to the center of the town.

Rooms are a little dated for a 4*. The bikes were not able to rent after 8pm. Therefore, there is about a 15-20 min walk into Riva centre if you want to go into the centre in the evening.

The breakfast was amazing, omelettes prepared to order and juicer. The free bikes from the hotel were great and allowed you to explore.

WiFi was painfully slow but this seems to be widespread in Riva rather than specific to the hotel as we struggled to make hotspots work either. A few niggles - the perennial problem of sunlounger-hogging by the pool (towels & belongings left unattended for hours) as space is very limited and the 6th floor sundeck has few (if any) parasols; there are only 2 small lifts which can result in long waiting times; difficulty in manoeuvring in and out of parking spaces in front car park when large neighbouring vehicles present; no hooks in bathroom (for the lovely bathrobes) and rather small shower cubicle; curtains gathered too tightly so they didn't fully cover the window and hence let in too much light round the edges.

Good location - 15-20 minute walk into centre of town, especially nice along the lakeside promenade (although watch out for cyclists who think they are on the Giro d'Italia) and choice of restaurants nearby as well. Excellent breakfast (and Restaurant manager took account of my husband's mobility issues and gave us tables near the buffet) and the one dinner we had in the hotel was good as well (we like to try lots of different places for dinner) with reasonably priced wine and half price aperitifs in Happy Hour. Other pluses were big fluffy towels and complementary bathrobes & slippers. Hessian shopping bag farewell gift on checkout which I unfortunately managed to leave behind.

Parking was somewhat small, in the end we parked in a garage, which was quite a project to find, but in the end, car was parked there safely.

Room was big and spacious, quite clean, too. Breakfast was magnificent! Loved the balcony, it was a bit too cold and our room didn't have the best view and position, but I guess it just gets better if you chose lake-side view and higher floor. You can borrow city bikes, they also have a place to store your own bikes - it looked pretty safe.

The rooms and bathrooms need updating really. Would like to have had more lunch offerings like a healthy salad option for lunches.

The location of hotel, and the staff were fabulous. The pool area was lovely and clean, and actually warmer than expected! Easy to pop over the road - just 2 mins walk to the lake. Restaurants just steps away or short walk to the old town.

We loved the location of the hotel. It is easy to drive there, close to a lakeside walk with loads of restaurants and a 15min walk from Old Town. Staff were very friendly. We booked the lake view suite which was exceptional! Very clean. Huge room. Big comfortable bed.

A greater variety of vegetarian food. The range is quite limited

The breakfast was good. We were impressed with the range of food and the fresh juice presser. The staff were helpful and kind. Lucia did a fantastic job of looking after us during our stay.

Our room (back of hotel) was pretty basic. No iron, kettle facilities but guess that may be standard for Italian hotels. Would be nice to have had a mirror at the dressing table to be able to sit at and get ready (rather than standing in the bathroom).

Friendly staff and good breakfast. Nice to be able to sit outside for breakfast in the morning. Only a short walk to the water and 15 minute into the town.

Small and uncomfortable room, ugly airconditional is the middle of the room on the floot, old furnitures, bad price/value rate, noisy, parking at garage there is under construction.

Near to the beach, swimming pool, night music programs, breakfast was ok.
