Great location, Mestre is a nice and quiet little town and it's very close to Venice. A lot of nice ameneties: nice pool, wellness center, lots of tennis courts. Also, the restaurant was very nice. We will choose Garden Green Resort when we come back to Venice.

Location isn't good if you don't have a car- There are 2 bus options to get to Venice from the hotel, but both are at least a 45 min commute including a 15 min walk to one of the bus stops (bus 7). I would say this isn't the place if you plan on spending most of your time in Venice unless you're willing to commute 45-60 mins each way. The staff at reception desk isn't friendly or helpful. They only offer the paid transfers to Venice or the airport, and other paid activities. They don't mention any of the perks of the resort at all, or the public transportation options that are significantly cheaper than what they offer (unless asked). They gave us wrong information for the airport transfer we had reserved in the beginning since they never asked which airport we needed to go to. They called us a couple of hours before our flight saying it was 30 eur more than what they originally said and that the time we requested wasn't available anymore. We had to find a last minute transportation option and this was very stressful given the location of the hotel that's not very close to Venice.

The room was quiet and the restaurant in property was good. Average breakfast for the low price of the room with 2 hot items (scrambled eggs and hot dog sausages) with other pastries and cold breakfast items. It was nice to be able to order 2 hot drinks. The restaurant staff was friendly.

Payment for transfers. We were told 10euro each way but it was more expensive with only the 2 of us going to Venice. We didn’t except the tax fee when we left the property it should of been noted before the booking was made.

The restaurant had the best pizzas. Staff was always pleasant and polite. Only disappointment was the transfers to Venice. We were told at the front desk 10euro each way but it turned out if you are by yourself it’s 35euro one way so how does that work if it was to be 10euro each? Transfer to the airport was 60euro and another expense is tax to the motel. You add all that and would have been cheaper to stay on the island. Expensive trip which should of been more a budget holiday turned into an expensive one

Everything!!! The restaurant was phenomenal!! The pizza was insane! Myself and my couple still haven't stopped talking about it! The staff were lovely and they even arranged transport into Venice! Highly recommend this place!!

We are family of four booked two rooms but allowed to take coffee only for two persons. When I discussed the same with the staff, they were mean and unsupportive.

We had been to the hotel before, just the two of us with my partner. This time, we went with two families during the Venice Carnival. We made two reservations on Booking.com. Two persons for 119 euros, and two adults plus one child for 219 euros. A few days before the trip, the child fell ill and couldn't come. Both reservations could have been canceled for free, so we wrote to the hotel asking if there was a possibility for the other couple not to pay 219 euros. They replied that everything was fine, they moved the couple to a smaller room, and the price remained the same. We responded that this was not acceptable; if the price remains the same, at least don't move them to a smaller room. There was no response to this, despite calling them multiple times every day for days, and even Booking.com trying to contact them, but in vain. Upon arrival, we informed the reception and agreed to receive a 100 euro compensation in the form of a voucher, which we could use for the next booking. We accepted this, thinking everything was fine, and on that day, we paid 46 euros at the reception for the tourist tax and our small dog. We didn't receive any paper or receipt for this at that time. On the day of checkout, another receptionist was on duty. This receptionist was very rude to everyone. His style was appalling and left a negative mark on our trip. The bald receptionist did not believe us, so after much persuasion, he called the other receptionist and was able to deduct the taxes we had already paid from the agreed voucher amount. It was impossible to talk to him due to his very unpleasant and disgusting style, which cast a shadow on our journey. Despite the reduced-value voucher, I don't think we'll use it after these incidents. If not for this incident, I wouldn't have mentioned that the bed was broken; we fixed it ourselves at night. In room 107, the showerhead sprayed everywhere. I could list more, but I'm running out of characters...

We stayed only 3 nights, but were very happy with everything, including our room, breakfast, and all the staff. Also, the food at the Aromatico restaurant in the evening was very good. We would like to return to Venice and when we do we will stay at the green garden resort again.

No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, no fridge, no nearby anything really. It calls itself a resort, it's a glorified tennis complex with rooms in the middle of nowhere.

Shuttle to Venice was 35 euro for one way, and couldn't take the bus because the tobacco shop was closed from 12 to 15.30. Took a bus on my way back from Venice, that cost me 3 euro for 2 people. The warm water takes very long to heat up. Shower was moldy.

Technical staff was very fast when base of the bed fell apart. The receptionist couldn't give us a timing when we asked for help, so we had to sit around and wait for him to help, though. The eggs at breakfast were very tasty (and salty, but that's how I like them)

The airconditioner was a bit tricky, but sorted when we were told how to turn it off. Long hike from carpark to room was off putting, but supplied trolley made it easier...

Transport in and out of Venice was organised by the hotel and was easily the best way to go to and return back from the busy historic centre of Venice. Great to come back to a friendly obliging restaurant for dinner every night. Sporting facilities were 2nd to none, awesome stay...
