We were under the impression we could pay for breakfast by day and wanted to only on the last day before checkout. There was confusion on whether that was possible and ended up getting charged an arbitrary amount because they couldn’t get a hold of someone who might know better. Just FYI if you are to do the same, ask for clarification upon arrival.

We stayed in one of the apartments down the street from the hotel. The property had ample parking and the apartment itself was very spacious. The apartment was well equipped for cooking our own food. On nights where we were too tired to cook we ate at the hotel restaurant, the food was delicious. Location was convenient to other parts of the Dolomites, as well as catching the bus to the base of the trails nearby. Check-in was quick and easy, very friendly and helpful explaining everything we could do in the area.

Service was fantastic, accommodating and out of their way to be helpful. the relaxing but bubbly vibe with the hotel I’m sure is a result. It feels good to hang out there. Great stay.

Everything was very good, Maybe the breakfast options could be little better with some bread varieties and maybe some warm meal.

Excellent Location, Very friendly and helpful staff as well as the property owners. Definitely would recommend this place . Ski area is just a few mins walk from the property. They also gave us a free pass for where we could use the ski lift, discount on ski equipments as well thius pass was valid for public transport. Alacarte dinner options were very good.

It was my 3rd time here (previously this was Gasthof Edelweiss) - discovered that it's been taken over by a new management few years back. Hanes and every staff were friendly and welcoming. I was assigned a room with a balcony overlooking the mountains and valley - was given a pass for free bus ride. I booked 4-nights with half-board. Breakfast spread was good. The 3-course dinner was absolutely delicious and varied each night - could see lots of effort and heart put into its preparation, a joyful dining experience! Wishing Hanes and your team continue the great job in what you do. Hope to return again!

Review is regarding apartment only, haven’t seen hotel rooms so cannot comment but apartment itself is very outdated, pillows and bed is extremely uncomfortable, overall place looked like it was done in 50s and never updated once. Balcony was dirty.

The only trouble we had was at breakfast time - if you dont stay in the main building and don’t pre-order breakfast you run the risk of being turned away for having seats available. The choice you have is rather limited too. There aren’t any other places in the village to get breakfast, so pre-order or make your own breakfast.

Lovely hotel in a quaint village. Very close to the bus stop, delicious food and friendly smiley staff. We stayed in one of their apartments which is a 5-10 min walk from the main building and that was a little bit of a hassle but the staff were accommodating in case we wanted to bring a hot meal home with us after a long day of hiking.

While our room was suppose to have "Mountain View", the Balcony and Window on the first floor facing to the back only offer a glimpse if you bend your neck. Well - weather was great so we didn't spent any time in the room anyways. Music selection in the restaurant 🤣 - obviously that is very debatable.

Worth noting that the apartments are not actually at the site of the hotel, but about a five minute walk down the village. Separately, I could have done with a mirror in my room - there was only one in the bathroom.

Friendly, helpful staff, immaculately clean room, unbeatable location, right in the heart of the village. I was given lots of info about the area on arrival, and the free bus pass was a great addition! More affordable than other hotels in the area.

The only window was a skylight, and as it rained, had to remain closed; as a result, it was surprisingly warm in the room at night.

The room is clean, quiet, and exactly as is shown in photos here. They provided a card for free public transportation, which is a great bonus - you can easily grab the bus to Zanser and avoid driving/parking. The food at the restaurant is amazing - mostly locally sourced ingredients.

They have nice menu in the restaurant especially at dinner. However, dinner time is limited from 18:00 to 20:30.

Best location for walking to the view point in Santa Maddalena, and also easy to access to trekking for Dolomite Mountains. There are no restaurant in the village, however we can get nice breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel. The staff is always friendly and very kind for us. They will support us when you have a question for the activities.

Loved the location, very close to famous Santa Maddalena church. There was very nice, friendly and helpful personel, and food (local, fresh, and presented beautiful way) was absolutely amazing.
