How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

-no parking on site. The paid parking only has limited spaces and is 1.2 km to drive from the hotel because of the one way systems and about 700 m to walk back. -the hotel is on the second floor with no elevator. A long way to take luggage up and downstairs.
-VERY friendly, helpful, warm and welcoming staff! -VERY clean! ***** -restaurants and bars in walking distance -bus stops very close. Easy and quick to get to the city centre -simple but good breakfast selection

Very friendly staff. Lovely selection of cold foods for breakfast. Very close to public transport stop or 30 minute walk into city centre. Room relatively small but clean and comfortable.

It was a bit far from the city center, a 25 min walk. There are buses that take you to the center though.
The room was nice and comfortable. Well decorated. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The breakfast is also really good.

Nothing to mention, really. But for some people it might be a little difficult to walk the stairs with heavy luggage. The hotel is on 2.floor, and no lift. In that respect, ask to get help before arriving, and it will be no problem.
Nice and clean room, comfortable bed. Very good service and helpful. Bonus for complementary café products 24/7, and nice little terrace with view, to enjoy coffee in the morning.. Short walking distance to buses, and trains, and if you are good for a 30 min walk, it's also easy to reach the old town center by foot.There is a lot of restaurants and small shops in the neighbourhood of the hotel. All in all, a little gem in Florence; quiet, nice and cosy.

The distance from the town centre. The guest house is on the second floor of a block with no lift access

Breakfast could've had a bit more variety but it was satisfactory.
The rooms were modern and tastefully decorated. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel's terrace was a very nice surprise and you can enjoy a beer or two on it while enjoying the ambiance of Florence.

Everything was super. No complains.
The location was great, walking distance from city center, train station nearby, many bus stops. Delicious breakfast with vast selection, everything was very fresh and tasty. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a nice terrase in the hotel with beautiful view. Rooms are spacious, very clean and equiped. We have found everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay!

What a lovely little hotel. Our room was immaculate and breakfast was very nice. The staff were super helpful. The location is quite a walk to the main attractions, but a lovely walk all the same and helped us explore areas which we might not have seen.

My boyfriend and I stayed for a night and to be honest it’s the first time I’ve been in a hotel that looks exactly like the photos! The room was petite but clean, comfy and luxury. Good breakfast and excellent team! Looking forward to be back soon 🙌🏻

the stairs to get to the second floor were a challenge with a heavy suitcase and the rickety banister was abut scarey.
the room was clean,tastfully decorated and very comfortable. the breakfast rom was delightfully furnished and the continental breakfast had a good selection.

The hotel is on the first floor. Don't criticise a book by its cover. There's not a negative thing.
Everything was perfect!! Thank you very much for the hospitality. Breakfast was awesome!! The room was clear!! The staff was very helpful with us and resolved any question we had!

It's a bit far from the city center but absolutely reachable by walk.
It was all good. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Clean. Nice view from the window. Good bathroom and not that difficult to arrive.
