Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Superb location, nice breakfast, room a bit small but thats normal at this location (historic house). Shower needs some fixing though. The shower hose was not in good shape anymore. Nice and helpful staff at reception.

BelgiumThe breakfast was ordered the day before due to covid. Instead of a buffet, we got a menu at the table from which we could choose. Some mistakes were made with our order and while we were still eating (with 4 children) they told us we had to leave because 'time was over'... although the rest of the restaurant was almost empty so no other people were waiting for our table. This did not give us a very good feeling.
The rooms were nice and the location is good to visit the city centre. There is a public parking garage at about 300 meters, but very busy place, so not so easy to drop already some bags at the hotel.

In front of the Garibaldy street, perfect to visit the old city. The frontdesk is excellent, very good communication. We faced several employees, and all of them were professionals. They booked for me my COVID-19 test to return to France on a very effective manner.

Italy is always a hard place to find a good central nice comfortable hotel, you get rubbish cheap hotels then really expensive high end hotels, finding what most of us want, a good hotel at a good price is the Holy Grail, I've been to Rome 5 times and still not found my forever hotel, I've nailed my Genoa hotel first visit
