Apartments-Annex was a 4-5 walk away over bumpy cobblestone. Connecting back to front office required a walk or a dialing a local number (no quick button).

Drinks in the roof garden terrace were a bit on the expensive side but did come with olives, cheese, bruschetta and crisps.

The location is excellent, so close to many of the main sights and there are restaurants aplenty in this area. Also an easy walk to the train station for a day trip to Verona. Especially loved the decor in the public areas. The breakfast is outstanding, many choices and beautifully presented. I required a gluten free breakfast as I’m coeliac. This was no problem at all, I was given 2 types of bread, biscuits muesli and other treats in addition to eating being from the main bThe hotel booked a taxi to the airport as we checked out and it came promptly. Each member of staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for you. We’d highly recommend this hotel.

The manager was very lovely as I arrived and was very hot a sweaty, he instantly gave me water. he also gave me a bottle of rose as I simply asked him where I could purchase a bottle... so nice of him

Lots of stairs to navigate. No black out blinds. Bit noisy in the main areas, and it sounded like someone was vacuuming/polishing floors at 2am one morning. There wasn't a good area for doing make up, could do with a mirror in the bedroom or dressing area. Mini fridge didn't keep things cool enough.

Excellent location. Fantastic breakfast. Lovely decor in main areas. Wonderful roof top bar. Large room, comfortable bed. Separate closet area, big bathroom.

The bedroom was a bit too small for 3 people, we struggled to find space for 3 suitcases.

Location was excellent, 15 minute walk to the train station, 5 mins to the old town. Breakfast was excellent . The roof terrace in the evening was v.nice with good views over Bologna. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Handy chilled water dispenser in the breakfast room for filling water bottles each day.

Walls are really thin. Child next door was easily heard through the walls in the middle of the night and during the day.

The description of the room was a bit misleading. We had a double bed and bunk beds in the same room. Too small for our grandsons. We made it work.

Amazing room, kids really love the bunk bed. We also have a separate area for lounge. Great size bathroom too, and very clean. The rooftop lounge is very nice and peaceful, but expensive prices to pay for the view :)

The room was dark as it faced onto a large light well. But it kept the room quiet and cool.

Location was in the heart of Bologna but tucked away and very quiet. A very elegant property.

Slightly bigger room would have been more comfortable but it was acceptable. Unfortunately, the a/c in our friends' room did not work properly

The location of the hotel was excellent. The room was very clean and serviced daily - maybe a little small but perfectly adequate. The bathroom was well-appointed with a good shower. Beds were comfortable. We did not take breakfast at the hotel. Staff were always friendly and helpful, especially Sergio who assisted with recommendations for places and restaurants to visit before our arrival and offered to make reservations.

The setting of our room.

Our room was something like a superior suite. A queen bed and a sofa that converts to bunk beds. This was wonderful except that the 2 rooms were separated and split with a shower. It was an odd setup.
