The location was PERFECT. Nice size , very comfortable room. The breakfast was excellent. If you are driving I recommend to book a parking space before arrival.

Fabulous property in an old palazzo. Great location. Very clean. Our room was a nice size. Many options for breakfast. Hosts could not have been more helpful and kind. Beds were extremely comfortable. There was some work going on to restore the property but that didn’t bother us. It will be fun to see what the changes are when we come back one day to this special B&B! We loved every minute there!

Incredible location right at the head of the Piazza del Duomo. The room was palatial (literally), with a big bathroom and rain shower. Windows sealed out all noise from outside, while the little balcony allowed us to enjoy the scene in the piazza below. And breakfast by Cristina was the best breakfast I've ever had in Italy. Fresh pastries and croissants, eggs, bacon, cereal, fruit. Everything anyone could wish for.

The inside entry hall ground floor of the palazzo was under construction and being worked on. But was no issue. Make sure you book a parking place somewhere before arrival.

Fantastic palazzotype building at the duomo square! Room with balcony to ghe Duomo square. Great breakfast, large room. Grandeur being restored by the owner, who is upgrading the old building to a modern hotel. I appreciated the personal message with a link to a safe private (valet) parking nearby 200 m distance. (a must in the Syracuse old town centre)

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property. It was fabulous.

The location was absolutely fabulous and the view from the window was superb. We’re definitely coming back here, hopefully soon. Breakfast was great. It was just a lovely place. It was a 10 minute walk to the car park where we could leave the car and that gave us an excellent opportunity to explore the little streets of Ortigia. Just outside the hotel, there was lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful place.

The location was fantastic. We were 2 doors down from St Lucia the main square. The room and staff couldn't be better. The breakfast was very complete and delicious. We would stay here again next time. We were lucky that we found parking by the marina. It was a few short blocks to the hotel.

Well located right on Piazza Duomo on Ortigia Island. The room was as described and very comfortable. More than adequate breakfast is included. Stefano the host was a good communicator and was helpful in our accessing the premises by car and subsequent car parking arrangements.

The entry at street level and the stairs to reception appear to be shared by more than one property, which may explain why they are poorly lit and in need of a general upgrade. An elevator would be nice, though Stefano is a pretty good substitute.

The door to this hotel opens onto one end of Piazza il Duomo. In either direction there were many restaurants and shops. The waterfront was a 5 minute walk. The parking garage recommended by the hotel was only 80 meters away (€20/day). There is no elevator, but Stefano at reception met us at the street door and carried our bags up for us. He did the same on our departure. The room was plain, but clean and in good shape with high ceilings, nice furniture, tile floor, a mini balcony, and a good bathroom with a large shower. The bed was very comfortable. AC was good. Breakfast was excellent with bacon and eggs in addition to the usual buffet items. It was served in a large, bright room off of reception. Aside from the hotel we found Siracusa to be our favourite spot in all of Sicily. The island of Ortigia is definitely the right place to stay in Siracusa with waterfront all around, nice promenades, swimming spots, great restaurants with fresh seafood and everyone very hospitable.

Nothing, there was nothing we would change

Our driver drove through the main square in Ortigia and stopped the car right within about 200 feet of the Cathedral, and got out. I looked at him. “We’re here,” he said. I was amazed. I knew that Booking said that it was central, but this was really central. Wherever we went in the town, all we needed to do was ask for Il Duomo, or look for the dome of the Cathedral and we found this lovely hotel. The room was very nice, with floor to ceiling French doors which opened onto the main square. Bed was comfortable, air conditioner very quiet, and bathroom very nice. The breakfasts were wonderful. Staff very pleasant and helpful. When I left I thanked the hotel manager very much. I saw the Trip Advisor rating of 9.4 and shook my head…..”No, no, no,” I smiled…”9.5!” and he laughed.

It is an old style hotel but has everything one needs .

The location was absolutely perfect. Right on the Piazza Duomo which is beautiful. The family that run the hotel are amazing. Their son checked us in and we fell in love with the place!
