We had a great stay. Handing over the keys and the communicating with the host was super easy and pleasant. The host was very friendly and helpful. The location of the apartement is great, you are right in the center and you can reach everything needed very quickly. Restaurants and coffee places are also just around the corner. There is also a supermarket nearby, everything you need including parking is within walking distance. The furnishings of the apartment is very cozy, attention is paid to many details that make the stay to an experience. Everything was great. We would come back at any time.

No windows with any view, but I know the trade off would have been a noisier apartment with street view.

I’m clutching at straws here as the apartment and stay were fantastic - so this is more of a “note” to intercontinental travellers, than a dislike. As the apartment is in a pedestrian area, if you are travelling with a lot of luggage (and in our case also a young child), it is likely you will need to make two trips from wherever you are dropped/parked to get your luggage to the apartment, and then several trips up the lift/stairs. An inconvenience at most for us, but if you’ve any mobility issues, it’s probably something worth contacting the host about before your stay. We self checked in as our flight was delayed, but I would imagine with a handover they would be more than happy to help. Again, not a dislike, but something to be aware of.

The location of the apartment is absolutely fantastic - walking distance to everything you would want while staying in Como. It’s also very spacious, well kept, and impeccably clean. Communication with the host was prompt and friendly. We only stayed three nights so dined out the majority of the time, but one could definitely make use of the well appointed kitchen and dining area with a longer stay.

A small amount of coffee, tea and milk would have been a nice touch for when you arrive but not a really big problem as there are shops locally, we were left water which was appreciated.

The property was excellent for the central location of Como, it had everything we needed and was very comfortable, i would say that the room we had did have a very steep spiral stair case which i think could be a problem for some one with mobility issues.

Wish there were additional mirrors in the home other than the bathroom. Made it difficult to get ready for the day if someone else was using restroom or showering

Elevator is slow and very small. Our apartment was on the first floor (the one above ground) and was not an issue except when checking in.

Great location - Property is close to both the duomo/town centre and ferry station. Host was friendly and provided a great explanation of the property and also left a great information booklet setting out everything you need to know about the property and great recommendations for Como and the lake.

The lounge chair (only 1, though apartment was for 2) was not very Comfortable for sitting round There are 4 small stairs to lift, didn't bother me, but could be a problem for someone with a mobility problem. Just to be aware.

The location was close to everything, The Doumo, the restaurants, the supermarket, the lake. Apartment was very large, decor was beautiful, long terrace overlooking the street, where the children played Till late. Felt very much part of the local culture. Unfortunately I needed to shut them at night, becayse it could be a bit noisy late, as I prefer to sleep with fresh air. However totally quiet with terrace doors shut. Manager stayed late for check in when plane was delayed. Assisted with luggage. Organised taxi transfers from airport and to Milan. Was very kind and helpful.

The wifi doesn’t reach to the bedroom

Very fun and entertaining location in Como. And the split level layout of the apartment is cool. The parking is a couple blocks walk, but the route is direct and easy enough
