We are tall people and shower was very small. Room was small too. Breakfast machine Coffee was awful .

Hotel is in a great central location in the old town pedestrian area. Our room on the third floor benefitted from windows and a balcony that allowed good views to the sea and far coastline over rooftops. The hotel is handy to all the major attractions, restaurants and cafes - it is also a short walk to Messina Gate where it is easy to catch buses to/from the station, and for day tours or a taxi. The hotel has a dated interior but our room was comfortable, with a reasonably sized bathroom. Breakfast was not extensive but included cold meats and cheeses along with the typical pastries and cakes. More than ample. The staff were also helpful.

Nothing about the property. Just our room was facing the main street which is a bit noisy at night with people walking & also then in the morning with the garage trucks coming & vendors getting their deliveries the balcony doors are not that sound proof Also our attached blow dryer didn’t work I told the front desk thought they would fix or give one but they didn’t. Our daughter’s room had a portable one so I just took theirs. We were only there 2days. The breakfast was great though

Location-wise, this place was spot on, right in the heart of Taormina. Being just above Corso Umberto, we soaked in the lively atmosphere from our balcony, which was the highlight of our stay. Breakfast was okay, there weren't many choices. Overall, the vibe was pleasant.

Although we placed complaints about a broken lamp and a broken toilet seat, they were not repaired during our stay.

The location is very central yet we were not bothered with the noise from the street as the rooms were looking over an internal garden.

I didn’t like the noise outside the window. It was right above a courtyard and often people were there at night and loud. I also didn’t care for the front desk person Simone. He didn’t seem to care about the clients experience there and was rude.

Reception staff were a bit cold & unfriendly.

Hotel Isabella was closed on dates I booked but they referred me to Hotel Villa Diodoro which was superb & palatial. Room had a view of the gardens and ocean. Bed was comfortable. Great gardens on the cliff by the sea and view of Mt Etna. Good breakfast buffet. Restaurant food was okay. Their swimming pool was beside the cliff & would be great in summer.

The Aircon was turned off even thought it was really hot in November. We couldn’t sleep with our doors open because we had a shared balcony. And the fan didn’t work well.

No air conditioning..room was very warm ….no info on how to get from the train station to the hotel which is confusing as when you arrive you have no idea where you are..the hotel and the town centre is quite away from the station..so any information on transportation to the hotel would have been greatly appreciated…and, almost all information generally about transportation to and from the train station was different from every source ..very frustrating..but the town in beautiful and now we know our way around would stay again. Unbeatable location..

The breakfeast was nothing special, and was in the “basement” as it was October. And no high chair for our baby. The room towards the street was a bit noisy.
