Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The pool! So needed after the hot day! Could walk to salt pans/windmills - great spot for that. Staff friendly. Breakfast was nice. Bed was comfy.

United StatesSome things in the bathroom didn't seem to be well kept, but it was clean.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The place is not fancy but it was perfect for our visit. It is at walking distance from the salt pans and the departure dock to visit the Isla de Mozia. The breakfast area is ample and the breakfast is just right, continental style.

ItalyThe only flaw was the cleanliness of the room, which was not the best, especially for pandemic standards.
The location is great for visiting the Saline di Mozia, where you can take a boat tour. It's about a 15/20 minute walk from the hotel. The staff was really welcoming and helped us with every need, from booking the boat tour for the saline, to booking a day trip on the boat to the Aegadian Islands. It was just wonderful.
