Our stay couldn't have been better.

The breakfast was wonderful. Really more than we expected, homemade bread and foccia, fruit, splended coffee. We met the owners and what wonderful people! Our room had the most amazing view of one of the two Sasi's. The room itself is fabulous with a very large bathroom and a comfortable bed. Very clean and beautifully decorated. There was even a baggage lift so you didn't have to struggle getting your luggage up the stairs. It is easy to walk around all the sites and see everything from this central location. Parking was easy and not to far. We highly recommend it for a stay in Matera!

The view from the terrace was breathtaking overlooking the Sassi. Good communication re check in. Loved my room with a balcony overlooking a small piazza. A very welcoming bottle of wine, enjoyed on the terrace watching the sunset. Very clean and comfortable.

One of the best experiences I have had as far as hotels go. The staff went out of its way to ensure my comfort. I had the single room with the beautiful balcony overlooking the Sassi - completely worth the stay! Breakfast was plentiful. Location was excellent! Truly a great experience. Strongly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at L'Incanto Luxury Rooms. We had a hire car and it was easy to find the carpark and get our luggage to the property. The position of the property is wonderful. An amazing view from our room and from the top floor verandah. The staff were wonderful, so friendly and accommodating, they could not do more to help. We highly recommend staying at L'Incanto Luxury Rooms, you will not be disappointed.

Amazing terrace overlooking the Sassi. Location was amazing, right in the centre of the town easy access to everything. The a/c worked wonders. Marilena was wonderful and very helpful.

Everything was beyond perfect! The B&B is located in between both Sassi districts and a few minutes walk from the new part of town (straight road no, no stairs when dragging your suitcase). The building is beautiful and wonderfully renovated. The pride and the friendliness of the owners and staff was unmatched. I was welcomed by Signora Marisa who explained in great detail all the features of the room and all the sights to see in Matera, she was most wonderful and kind! I stayed in a single room but it was more like a separate apartment (only single thing was the bed) with a fridge (which had water, juices and yogurts on arrival), coffee machine and kettle. Breakfast was delivered to my door, an abundance of food, all fresh and so so delicious! Marilena was super helpful and friendly, arranged an amazing impromptu breakfast for me for the next day when she heard I will be leaving early. The room has a direct access to the shared terrace but it was mostly unoccupied and felt like a private one. The VIEW is everything that people mentioned and more! The BEST VIEW in Matera. No words, breathtaking. I would recommend L’Incanto to anyone and hope to stay there again!

As a landscape photographer, I had been looking for the best view of Matera - the room we stayed in (i Sassi) was hands down the best view of any hotel in the whole of Matera - I am 100% on that Room was lovely, clean, comfortable, great air con that worked really well (even though it was 37 degrees outside) Super friendly staff, complimentary bottle of wine and water on arrival. Great breakfast every day. Stayed 3 days

Literally everything. The room was spectacular. The view of the city was beautiful from the balcony and the rooftop was a lovely place to share a drink and watch the sunset. The breakfast included was also delicious and provided an array of Italian goodies.

L’Incanto was a pleasing surprise that made our couple trip to Matera a full romantic experience. The location is perfect, in the heart of Sassi but easily accessible. The room we had was comfortable and tastefully designed. The hosts very friendly and helpful. The terrace very intimate and the view from it was a gem!

The view from our balcony (the "I SASSI" room) was spectacular! The hosts were incredibly kind, communicative and helpful - they really care about you. We were given detailed instructions on what to see in the city, where to eat, etc. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The room was comfortable and always clean. Each room has their own fridge for use. Would highly recommend!

The only small thing was having to use disposable cutlery & paper plates for breakfast - really unpleasant to use.

The view from the terraces is amazing - if you book the single room then you have direct access to the communal terrace. Its located right in the middle of town (its about a 7min flat walk from parking) and theres also a lift for your luggage. Breakfast each day is bellissimo!

The view from the terrace directly connected to my room was phenomenal, you have an access to the panorama of sassi, which I enjoyed the most about the stay here. The room was very clean, and the hospitality of the owners was on another level.

The hotel room is very comfortable. We had a balcony with the most beautiful view over the old city. Don’t think there are too many apartments in Matera with the same view. The family that own and run the hotel were very friendly and helpful. I can’t think of a better position to stay. would highly recommend this property.
