Nice view from the restaurant. When we got at the hotel, they asked us if we wanted to eat at their restaurant. A reservation was needed, but we were allowed in immediately. Cute little balcony with a nice view, even though it wasn't at the little island of Orta. We were allowed to park the car after checking out for a few hours so we could explore the village and island.

Restaurant service was not up to standard - slow and wrong orders. Food was adequate but no more.

A view to die for! Our balcony overlooked the lake with a view of the island. The decor is a bit dated but clean and perfectly functional.

Nothing really, the hotel hasn't changed for many years of visiting Orta, it has a rustic charm that could benefit from a little modernisation. Charging for the water in the mini-bar on check-out was disappointing, there was only a bottle of each type in the fridge, normally these are free of charge, and we didn't see anything in the room to say otherwise - a small point, but nonetheless.....

Good location at the top of Orta Town. Free parking was a bonus, and the suite room we booked was a good space with amazing lake views. Staff were very accommodating, happy to let us stay late and leave the car until later in the day (it was low season...), and the breakfast was good.

The location was perfect, very close to the old city Orta San Giulio with a view on the island. The room was big and comfortable. The staff was very friendly.

Breakfast quality cool be improved (maybe less variety but more quality). It’s an old hotel so sound proofing is inexistent and aircon quite loud. But for that price you cannot expect too much so it’s a good value for money

As mentioned the room on the first night was noisy, but this was rectified. I couldn't fault anything else at all.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The first night we found our room noisy as it was near the laundry store room but the manager changed rooms for us for the second night which was so much better. The view from the restaurant was amazing and the meals were delicious so we ate both nights at the hotel. I appreciated the swimming pool too! I would definitely return again.

WiFi was pathetic and it kept cutting out after 15 minutes, which meant you had to go through the palaver of reconnecting to check emails. A mediocre breakfast, considering how much the room cost each night!

The 3rd floor room was very spacious and had a balcony with a great view over the lake. We also appreciated the welcome gift in the form of a bowl of fruit. The staff were all very friendly and helpful about restaurant recommendations and how to get around Orta San Giulio and see various sights.

Good staff, we arrived early after a long flight from Australia and our room was ready and the receptionist was very pleased to help us. Parking great, restaurant very good with great views, excellent location, wifi a bit patchy, our room with a balcony was great.

Bathroom, noisy extractor. Toilet too high shower enclosure worn. Bedroom a little antiquated and not a particular good view over looking a fire escape.
