I do think that we should have been advised that the hotel was under refurbishment . It was difficult to see on arrival if it was even open at all . I think this was reflected though in the very reasonable price.

staff were excellent Sarah was extremely helpful with ideas for visits and very friendly . Danny gave great service and suggestions in the restaurant .The food both for breakfast and evening meals was delicious and very reasonably priced .

everything was perfect!! we stayed for almost a week. the whole team made us feel happy and comfortable. the location is perfect for both hiking and going to the beach. we will definitely stay there again!

The only incovenience was that the hotel was undergoing rennovations while we were there, but I think that is a good thing that shows the management is dedicated to keeping it beautiful and comfortable.

What a gem of a hotel to find in the middle of the Gran Sasso national park. It was very clean and comfortable and the staff was incredibly friendly and genuinely interested in making guests feel at home. The room was a great size and the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning worked great. The area around the hotel is just beautiful with gorgeous views of the mountains, and it has maintained its authentic, Italian charm. Thankfully it is not overrun by the masses (and I hope it never will be!). The breakfast in the morning was delicious and more than I expected. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Large room with fridge and small terrace overlooking the mountains. Whirlpool bath was a bonus. Ample on-site parking. Restaurant on-site was good with great local wine and used by locals. Breakfast quality ok. Small lift available but no stairs from 1st floor to ground.

Perfect location right under the mountains. They automatically upgraded our room for larger one since we arrived with two little kids (thank you again!). Large tub, minifridge in the room, which is amazing. Also, they sent us an email with tips for trips in surrounding area, which we used and we did not know about before (like Calanchi di Atri).

Locanda del Parco Hotel, Ornano Grande, Abruzzo. Oct 25th, 2022. A beautiful mountain view location. Hotel is equipped with a lift and has a good restaurant with excellent local fare! Abundant breakfast served neatly by the staff. The bar is available for coffee, other beverages and snacks. Room: panoramic view of amazing mountains! Good beds, decor and bath. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Be sure to pet the sweet, black and white cat, who patrols the grounds.

this was our second visit after a number of years we strongly recommend this hotel simply gorgeous especially the food - the soup is so genuine breakfast still followed very strict covid rules breakfast a meal to last all day travel tip they gave us - a stop at Atri - was excellent

Everything was perfect

Clean and comfortable room, with a large balcony. The view of the mountains was stunning! The restaurant was fantastic, and had a good beer selection. If that weren't enough, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

The kindness of the owner, she gave us amazing tips to organise our stay and trekking in the Park and in the surrounding villages. Super quiet and nice location, easy departure point to explore around. The restaurant has very good quality food and wines. The breakfast with the homemade cakes and a lot more was very good. Recommended!

Nice and small family led hotel. Sandro and the rest of the staff do everything to make your stay a wonderful experience. Good restaurant and bar with six!!!!! (Yes Bro) beers on tap (they even intend to expand this to 11!). Good location for trips to the Gran Sasso mountains. Highly recommended. We will definitely come. Curious about the other five beers on tap :-D.
