We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomVery strong showers - excellent - but didn't like the shower curtains. Difficult sometimes to keep the water in the shower tray.
Very pleasant, historical building and very central to Acqui Terme. Restaurants and sights were all only minutes walk away. Staff were very helpful and friendly and some staff spoke excellent English, which was useful at times.

I rarely write reviews as most places are Ok, few are bad and few worth highlighting. But this place is my ideal. it has been sympathetically redecorated, the rooms are clean, furniture new but in keeping and facilities fine. So why is it worth reviewing? Because it feels like a privilege to stay in such a building, with its solid floors, huge tiled corridors, cloisters (if that is the correct term). Even the breakfast room has a 6 foot painting in the ceiling which is perplexing - full of symbolism. This is great value to stay in a historic building which is full of interest - recommended.
