The fact that the pool closes at 7pm this is too early considering the beach access and club was closed, which is one of the reasons I chose the hotel. At breakfast, it seems like the hotel was not prepared as there was a shortage of Cutlery and crockery and had to wait long for some food items.

The location is perfect and a beautiful hotel with amicable views.

I would say the only thing that let them down was the choice of food, for room service wasn’t the best.

The location was fantastic, the staff were amazing. Their shuttle bus in to the town was great.

When we booked the hotel, there was no mention of the Remmesse Beach House being shut down for the season on the day of our arrival. We were disappointed that we had no access to the beach, despite the Beach House being one of the main reasons we chose to stay at the property. The breakfast was also relatively poor for a 5-star hotel, especially the scrambled eggs.

We had a fantastic suite. We received an upgrade to a one-bedroom suite with a spectacular view. Our friends were placed in a junior suite next to us, which allowed us to enjoy the experience of Positano together. The rooms, and especially the outside deck and balcony, were spacious and clean. The pool area was excellent, with friendly and personable staff. Great fitness room overlooking the ocean. It is truly situated in the best location in Positano. The shuttle service was worth the price of having to valet our car.

Since it’s at the top of the cliff and such a huge property, make sure to use the shuttle to get into downtown area. They also offer a water taxi to the beach area for an additional cost.

The property is insanely beautiful and unique compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at on our trip. The staff is very accommodating and super friendly. The breakfast has breathtaking views if you eat outside.

Lack of storage for clothes with cheap & nasty hangers were definitely not 5 star. Breakfast was rather average and unimaginative. Pool area very small Very pricey - you pay a lot for the fabulous location. You cannot avoid a lot of steep stairs, even with several lifts and a funicular to take you up and down the cliffside. Not for the infirm

Our shower was a bit small and awkward to use.

When we arrived at Hotel Le Agavi we were pleasantly surprised. It was even more beautiful than the pictures. Our room was upgraded and we had the most spectacular view of Positano and the sea. The staff were very professional and friendly and able to answer any question we had. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and clean. We would definitely stay here again.

A few ants around in the room (which is to be expected with how open the hotel is) which was a little annoying but only was around for a few hours and the fan in the bathroom started to smell but wasn't a real issue we just turned it off. Like Positano, the hotel is on a cliff so it has lots of stairs so bare in mind of that 😂

The staff are incredibly lovely and extremely helpful if you need anything. Pool is lovely and refreshing, drinks are delicious, food is incredible and the service truly is 5 star. Spa facilities are great and the masseuse ladies are INCREDIBLE.

Nothing - it was immense

The location was exceptional - not in the busy business of Positano wiggly streets - but on a next door mountain - looking at beautiful Positano - it was only 15 mins walk away, and the hotel has hourly shuttles which were super efficient and easy The fact the hotel scaled the whole mountain - meant you had all the views, access to the road to get anywhere and were bang on the sea for boat and water - it was an incredible property

The food by the pool was expensive for what it was.

Amazing views from every room and part of the hotel, especially the breakfast balcony. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. Staff were all wonderful and friendly and the location was awesome...slightly out of the town which was good (it can get packed and crazy in the centre) and a regular hotel shuttle service which ran every hour took us to Positano in 10 minutes.

Perhaps a little run down. Long way down to beach club in inclinator..: long wait sometimes.
