You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

North MacedoniaThe new refrigerator was not in function, the girl from reception informed us that the owner said so... The information on the booking was that thay serve breakfast, but there was no breakfast.
Even the room is quite small it has good interior design with the new furniture and renovated toalet. The balkony was extra value. The bed is comfortable and the room was clean and AC worked well.

Between the cheap hotels in Riccione this is probably one of the most pleasant and close to the upper category. The room was big enough for a 4stars (even with a walk-in-closet!!), nicely furnished and the bathroom big, recent and well equipped. Well done!!

IcelandWelcome to the hotel from Hell! If you like to stay at a hotel that has dirty rooms, air-conditioning not working, no room cleaning, the wall leaking on to the electric safety box and that caused that the lights would not turn off the whole night, then be my guest. We were staying as a family of 5 with small kids. We tried to stay for 3 nights but after no sleep do to loud guests all night, slamming doors and arguing and of course the lights on in our room all night we gave up. We moved to another hotel on day 4 at our own costs. But we had a booking of a total of 6 nights at this hotel. There was no refund for the lost nights and we had to pay in addition a hotel tax, and I tried to refuse to pay it and then they wanted me to accuse myself in not paying for it and being lawsuit by the city. I can only say please avoid this hotel and don't support this kind of service. I am still waiting for any news of a refund regarding the lost days. But I hope Booking.com is working on that.
