How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Shower was open (without a door) and the water went out :( there wasn’t a bathroom, the shower is in the corner of the room.

Lovely breakfast, confortable beds, clean and very quiet room even though it's located in a busy street. We had to check out early and they prepared a Simple take-away breakfast the night before 😊 we really appreciated it!

The walls are quite thin, you can hear almost everything from the other guests.
Clean and nice looking rooms. Bathroom and bed was also good.

They only had stairs. But it was understandable. I wish I would’ve known by email about parking before hand.
The location was right in the center of Florence. Room was huge and the price point was perfect.

The Walls are pretty thin and you can hear people walk up and down the steps in the morning.
Location was amazing and very central. Two mins from Florence Santa Maria Novella station.

A bit of noice from the street, cars and drunk people coming back from the centre but the hotel is based on the very busy tourist street so you can understand this
Perfect location close to the train station and city centre, delicious breakfast, very friendly staff, superior room was fantastic with comfortable bed and modern bathroom, very clean, definitely will come back there again!

Sink and shower were not evacuating water very fast, but we raised issue to reception and it was better after, appreciate the quick reaction. It's 3 floor without elevators, but it's already documented, so not a problem for us. better to know before booking though.
We liked the great location, right next to the Train Station and at entry of the city center. Room was nice, wood floor, brand new shower cabin, good bed, and storage for clothes. Friendly staff, at reception and at breakfast bar.

The room we stayed is humid and cold, But i guess other rooms have not this situation, Because position is different. the cleaner cleaned 1/5 room, i don't know why

Overall, not a bad hotel for the price. The keys to the room are actual keys and not cards, so you have to lock the door every time you leave, and the keys are obviously more bulky than the cards. The walls are pretty thin, as I could hear the cleaners in the morning and the other guests going up and down the stairs while in bed. On my first night here, there was someone banging on my neighbors door for approximately 3-5 minutes. It was loud, and hard banging with a lot of yelling. This happened at 2300 (11pm). I thought it was some sort of domestic violence issue. Regardless, there was no staff after 8pm. There was an after hours phone number provided, but the phone in my room was not working, and my cell phone did not have service. It was uncomfortable, but not really the hotel's fault either.
This hotel was a fair price in a great location. The staff were really helpful and friendly. It is conveniently close to the train station which made it extremely less stressful when traveling with luggage.

The lack of a lift, but actually it is a very old building so it is pretty understandable. Some lights in the room did not work and the lack of a window in the room.

Perhaps the breakfast area could be a bit larger. it was one moment when is was quite full there and we could not find any free space but overall we were satisfied really with the hotel!
It was really good the hotel. It is close to the train station and close to the city center also. Just like how we wanted ;) the entrance it is quite narrow so you need to pay attention to don't miss it and the building is an older historical building but it was clean and good positioned so for us it was the best. The staff is really friendly and helpful. We could leave our bags their after check out and before taking the train forward we picked them up from the reception. Breakfast is good I would say compared to italy. wifi was working fine!

Breakfast is rather poor and disappointing – a couple of sandwiches, yoghurts and coffee. And if you prefer to wake up a bit later than 8-9 am – you'd only be left with close to nothing. There was some mould on the wall near the window, which wasn't nice at all too. Photos are not exactly telling the truth.
Amazing location, 5 min walk from the train station and very close to everything. Clean rooms. A very lovely atmosphere overall. Stuff is quite helpful too.

The noise at the weekend. The whole night people shouting out of them until early hours in the morning.
The room was nice and clean. The location was brilliant for all attractions. Staff were really nice and helpful. Breakfast was nice.
