Nothing at all to complain about.

Very good hotel in a lovely neighbourhood, don't let the 1 star fool you, it was a pleasure to stay there. Option to have breakfast at €8 which was value for money with a good choice of breakfast items. Staff were fantastic from the moment I got there until the moment I left.

Besides ground level, everything was great!

Location is fantastic! In a Historical Part of Rome. We were given a room in a “basement” or you would say a ground level, with window to the garment. At first we were a bit skeptical, since you literally can climb through the window out/in, however, the windows have a great shutters, pretty secure! Staff was always great! Room was cleaned daily. Premises secured by a large Maine gate with the doorbell and you can come or leave at anytime time. There was always someone to open a gate. Our flight also wasn’t till late afternoon, we were able to leave our luggage and pick it up right before our departure!

Friendly staff, 24h front desk with staff that were super kind and helpful for our late arrival and stored our luggage for our late departure. Room was clean, bed was comfy and window looking out into courtyard was nice while getting ready in the morning. location in testaccio was perfect for us, close to fantastic restaurants.

The location begs for you to learn the bus system in Rome, which was really simple in the end but we walked into the city center a couple of times and then gave up by getting cabs/bus.

It's a value for money hotel. The staff were down to earth and provided a great breakfast for €7. It is a really quiet area to be in as it's not quite in the center of Rome

They do not answer on messages… you have to go there. Breakfast is there, but they tell latter that it is not in ludeo and you have to pay 8 euros.

This is a old house (1912 a.d.)on Aventino hill. Everything outside is rustic…. Rooms and bathroom are new. It’s clean, well managed, it has betiful yard where you can sit at night. If you have to pay 40 euros and sleep in dirty rooms with 8 people…. Don’t. Spend litlle bit more and stay here… place is amazing.

Room could benefit from some tea/ coffee making facilities and a fridge. Staff a bit direct in their communication skills.

Very clean place in convenient location. The room was reasonably well equipped. Breakfast was available, but as there are many other breakfast places around, we never used it. Within easy walking distance to public transport and Rome's attractions.

For same price I've stayed in 2-room apartments, so just think it was a little overpriced. But location and staff balance out that negative.

Fantastic location easy walk to historic sites, restaurants, cafes. Lovely small hotel in quiet neighborhood. Windows that opened. Good sized closet to store clothes. Angelo was very kind and helpful.

The walls between the rooms lack soundproofing so one can hear the guests in the adjacent room. However, it was no problem during our visit.

The hotel is located in a very quiet area and still within a 20-40 minute walk to the center or Colosseum. The staff is very friendly and accomodating, it was no problem to check up earlier.

The neighbourhood is very quiet, but be aware that there is no metro station nearby, in contrast to most of the hotels near Termini. This is not a problem, if you don't mind a bit more walking, which allows you to explore some more of this amazing city.

This hotel deserves way more than one star. Everything is perfect: the room, the staff, the location, the building. There is everything needed for a few days in Rome. Definitely recommended. Bonus points for being 5 minutes walking distance from the Tiber river and from a park with a great panoramic view.

The only downside was that it’s far from the main attractions. 13 mins walk from metro was a-bit hilly.

The people working there were nice and helpful. The building looked really nice, especially with its high ceilings. Everything inside was clean and neat.

A lovely little hotel. Do not be fooled by the one-star rating, this is a very nice hotel and idea for our short stay in Rome. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly, and the room very clean and comfortable. An ample breakfast was included. The hotel does not serve lunch or dinner, but there are restaurants and coffee shops in easy walking distance, including some very good, smart restaurants. The hotel itself is an elegant old villa with nice private garden in a very quiet, safe, upmarket residential area, away from shops, tourists, etc. That said, it is only a 15-minute walk to the Colosseum or the Circus Maximus, and from there a short walk to the Roman Forum or the centre of the city. There is also a railway station just 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. We really liked it here and had a lovely time in this amazing city.

I have no complaints. The wifi was great, the breakfast was delicious, the staff were all friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

The hotel is extremely beautiful and scenic. You are within walking distance of good restaurants, museums, ruins, and everything Rome has to offer. The neighbourhood where you'll be staying is also exceptionally beautiful and scenic. Youre about a 3 minute walk from Giardino degli Aranci that offers one of the most beautiful views of Rome in the entire city. You'll feel like you're in a movie if you stay here, my girlfriend and I didn't want to leave. Bonus, there is a staff member in the office 24/7 and they are extremely friendly and helpful.

I think this hotel is only good in the summer, because the “heating” was absolutely ridiculous. I was freezing on the bed in my outside clothing and covered up with a scarf. I had to sleep in a knit sweater. When I asked about the heating not working, they said it’s centrally controlled and only switches on after 6-6:30 pm. Still, it kept switching on and off. I recommend this place only in spring/summer months.

The location is great, the staff (the owners I think?) are very friendly and helpful. Everything is very clean and the bathroom was very nice.

The people of the reception were almost indifferent. Hospitality needs smiley people not just people who get things done. We sincerely appreciated the fact that during the day of the check out they let us leave our luggages until 19:00 in the afternoon(We were having a late flight),however they were just indifferent.

We enjoyed the location a lot and the design was very warm.
