Recently renovated. Room was awesome. Great location just a 3 minute walk to the Spanish Steps! Great restaurants all around hotel.

There was no magnifying mirror for women to put on makeup. Just a little thing to have not that important. If the shower doors ( which was very spacious and great) were not closed properly, the floor would get soaked.

The location of the property was excellent. It was 2 blocks to Spanish Steps and all the great restaurants. We actually ate at Ristorante 34 on the same street 3 times!!!! The bed was super comfortable- best in Italy!!!! The toilet was in a separate room from the shower- which was ideal. All newly updated with marble walls. The size of the room was quite large for Italy. The staff was very professional and polite. There are only 9 rooms I believe but it has been remodeled and they are adding a small restaurant and sitting area so it will be great. The room was serviced every day. You had to walk up 1 flight of stairs to the room but it was no issue for us and there was a small elevator we did not use. There was coffee in the room, a safe, refrigerator, and everything we needed. I would stay here again. We walked to everything from here- took a very short taxi to train station on day of departure which hotel arranged for us at 5:30 am Definitely eat at Ristorate 34 —-2 doors down

+The location cannot be more central than that! +Staff is extremely friendly and go above and beyond to take care of their guests. +Beds are very comfortable. I have back problems and suffer in most hotels, here it was not an issue at all - my back is grateful

The area it îs quite crowded, mostly during weekends.

Giuseppe was very welcoming and ready to help all the time. We were spolied with complimentary bottles of waterr and Chianti wine. Very clean and very convenient location.

Due to renovation work at Mario de Fiori, our room was changed to its sister property nearby at Hotel Babuino 181. The staff were helpful and polite. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast at the Hotel Rooftop Terrace. The room was spacious and clean.

The air conditioner was a little confusing to set up but it was fine once we got it going. We would have preferred a walk-in shower instead of a 'climb-in' bathtub/shower combination due to our age.

We were informed that Mario De Fiori was going to be under renovations so our reservation was changed to Babuino 181 before our arrival. The staff really made this hotel. Veronica from Reception was most helpful and arranged our airport to hotel car transfer. Valerio at the rooftop breakfast buffet was most outstanding in looking after us. There was plenty of storage space in our room and the shutters over the windows blocked out all the light for a good night's sleep!

The room was quite big for European standards and tastefully furnished. A welcome bonus was the nespresso coffee machine which was always stocked with pods and the mini bar always replenished, all for free. Olga and staff were always eager (not just willing) to assist us and the property's location was as ideal as it can get... a few hundred meters from the Spanish steps, the shopping districts, the subway, and surrounded by restaurants, with a couple of Carrefours within minutes walk as well.

The only issue was a smell from the shower drain. But wasn’t a big deal at all.

Everything was very clean in the room! The room smelled perfect! The amenities were many and of excellent quality. The receptionists were kind and helpful. Mr Giuseppe and his colleagues were extra kind and helpful!!! Around the hotel there were many restaurants, super markets and shops! Everything was perfect! An excellent boutique hotel! Every time we will travel to Rome it was our fourth time) we will surely stay there!! In addition it is more than a value for money boutique hotel!

There wasn’t anything problematic with our stay. We were only there one night and wish we could have stayed there longer.

Beautiful boutique hotel, friendly staff and the room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. We were given a welcome complimentary bottle of wine as well as some delicious little treats. Also, they had a very nice coffee machine in the room as well as a common area on our floor with a coffee maker.

Perfect location; within walking distance to all the famous attractions, best shopping area and on a street with tons of cafes and restaurants - which was appreciated after a long day of sightseeing. The bed was extremely comfortable with good-quality sheets which helped with our jetlag. The staff were informative, kind, and always willing to help. We appreciated the amenities and little goodies they left us as a welcome treat. We will return!

We have visitied Rome on a number of occasions and this hotel is in a great location. Beautiful rooms with a complimentary bottle of wine. Super Comfy bed and attentive staff. This will be our go to for accommodation on our next visit.
