Location is a bit out of the main town but its a nice walk.

Quant old fashioned hotel. Room was large and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good. Vercelli is a nice town with great links to Milan and Turin by train. The locals were really friendly

The owner was super nice and let me in early since I was riding my bike on the Rome pilgrimage route. He even washed my back off before putting it in the garage. The hotel was spacious, comfortable, and there is an amazing restaurant a block way (huge thanks to the owner for sending me that way).

A nice touch was when we arrived tired and hot with backpacks on our host immediately grabbed us each a cold bottle of water! Good, comfortable accommodation and good value.

This Hotel is a disaster

The smoke smell in the hallways, and a little bit in the room was hard for me - I'm sensitive to smoking smells. Most of Italy is very cognizant to not allow smoking in/around the hotels, but this particular hotel had many no-smoking signs, but all the signs that the staff may have been regularly smoking in the building lobby, and outside. The hotel staff did a good job opening the windows of the hallways for a few hours after I mentioned it, but the smell only slightly dissipated. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming - cappuccinos were served in a paper cup, and there were only packaged snacks for breakfast, and 1 croissant per person (croissants were just fine). The room was a bit outdated with a crazy color scheme, and the sheets appeared to be clean. The bed was super hard, but we were so tired that didn't matter.

I appreciated the walkability to the train station, and center of Vercelli. I appreciated that the property offered breakfast, and the bathroom was very clean and the hot water was great with wonderful water pressure (always a selling point for me!). The hotel staff allowed us to check in after 3pm, and leave our backpacks behind the front desk while we toured the town the following day and pick up at 3pm before heading back to the train - the accommodation for our backpacks was very helpful.

It’s not too far from the city . They have great service and so welcoming. The rooms are warm which is great. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I’d recommend for stay in vercelli definitely
