Our room was small and inadequately furnished. Good comfy bed but no seats, no desk, no drawers for clothing. Tiny shower-room/toilet. An electric plug by the bed was damaged, with wiring showing, potentially dangerous (reported to staff). Hotel was closed when we arrived ahead of our notified check-in time, so it's advisable not to be early.

Location excellent - in the heart of the town, 2 minutes from lake frontage, 5 minutes from harbour. Simple Continental breakfast as advertised. These two points, plus the warmth and friendliness of our hosts, account for our "Good" overall rating.

I’m happy that I had a chance to be a guest in Hotel Moniga. It turned to be much better than expected. Very cosy, clean and tidy, warm, with comfortable bed and pillows. Right in the city centre though still quiet and calm. Very much recommended.

Great location near the lake front and near all bars restaurants shops etc. Loved my stay at this hotel tucked away in a little side street felt very homely and welcoming. My room was spotless comfortable and modern. I was treat so well by the friendly hosts and had a wonderful breakfast every day. As a female solo traveler I felt safe and well looked after. Thank you so much for fabulous stay and I would like to return one day. Thank you Marian.

A clean and comfortable room. The hotel is well located close to bar and restaurants. An 8 minute walk from the ferries and 15 minutes to the train station. Lovely coffee, croissant and juice for breakfast. Perfect for our one night stay in Desenzano

That was my second stay and I liked it even more than the first time. Perfect location in the city center, everything in walking distance. Friendly staff, good breakfast (Italian breakfast means coffee and croissant, which was perfectly fine for me; but if you expect continental breakfast you‘ll not be happy) Comfortable room, clean bathroom.

The location of the wardrobe cabinet is a little bit far from the door.

The room is clean and spacious. Excellent location 15 min walk from the train station and ten steps to shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Friendly staff and good for money. Highly recommended.

The bed was very comfy and we both had an excellent sleep! The staff were so friendly and helpful, they could not have been more accommodating! Such lovely people. The location is great and close to everything you want in Desenzano!

This wasn't a problem but it would have been nice to have a small fridge and tea/coffee facilities in the room as the downstairs cafe wasn't open in the evenings and it was summer time so being able to keep a cold drink in the room would've been good.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location is fantastic, just 5 - 10 mins walk from the lakefront, restaurants, shops etc depending on your speed. Also very handy to the swimming areas and ferries. As a solo female traveller I felt safe in the hotel and in the entire area. My room was fairly basic but extremely clean and comfortable enough. The included breakfast was a choice of pastries and drinks and the staff were generous with those. Overall, great value for money and in a very good location.
