How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

- The building is too noisy, we woke up several times - Bed is Ok but not super comfortable - Our wc cistern leaked water... - Room ceiling too short, very uncomfortable for tall people - Actually there are no views to the city, there are views to the building in front, we expected more for a Deluxe room

The location is fabulous, free street parking outside the bnb. Staffs were incredibly welcoming. The room is bright, spacious, clean and very comfortable. Wifi worked well on top floor.

It’s the only B&B we’ve stayed in over 5 weeks where breakfast was ‘extra’. We would also concur with other comments that the walls are very thin.
The location is fabulous and we had easy parking. The staff were incredibly welcoming. The room is spacious, clean and very comfortable.

The view from my window was amazing and offered a lot of sunshine throughout the day, which made it pleasant to stay in the room for a bit of work even if the weather wasn't too grand. Room and bathroom were clean and a kettle available with tea & coffee facilities. The room was big and cozy. Staff was always very helpful and superfriendly, specially Ryan - a big shoutout to him!

The location truly cannot be beat—it's a super quick walk into town, about 5 minutes to all the restaurants and shops and pubs. The room was comfortable and clean! Our host, Ryan, was also so kind and lovely. He made a delicious breakfast for us, was always happy to chat, and gave great recommendations for things to do in Dingle. I would stay at Seaside Heights again for sure!

Very thin walls, but that can't be helped, and it wasn't a huge issue at all.
Beautiful property and lovely owners, a great breakfast. Rooms are clean and serviced during the day if needed, and its so close to everything! We're coming back for sure!! :-)

Excellent breakfast. We stayed on the upper floor and had glorious views to the night sky through the skylight. Very comfortable, easy street parking. Great location for visiting the Slea Head and surrounds.

Did not like the door lock situation. The lock was hard to manage, bathroom was a little inconvenient to get to, and walls were thin.
Nice view, location, cleanliness, and breakfast.

The room was a little warm in the evening, we couldn't control the temperature of the heaters in the room which would be helpful. The hotel could have a little maintenance to make it a bit more modern and new.
Excellent location in the center of Dingle close to all amenities and with free on road parking. The b+b is quiet, comfortable and cosy, decorated in a traditional style. The bed is large and soft and great hot powerful shower. It was really clean and a large spacious room with plenty of storage. Staff were polite and friendly. There were nice little touches like fresh water, coffee and tea, and toiletries etc.

Overall a lovely place, very clean, and a great location to town center. While it is a lovely place it is not handicap accessible. My 83yr old mother struggled to get up the very steep stairs where all of the rooms are located. No where in the advertisement for this B&B does it state the rooms are all upstairs and only accessible by many stairs. If you physically have no issues you’ll have a great stay at this B&B if you have physical challenges and/or are elderly it’s not the choice for you.
Trevor does an amazing breakfast! The waffles and fresh fruit are extra yummy! Trevor gave us a list of places to eat and to go have a “pint” and listen to traditional music.
