United StatesAir conditioning was blowing on the very place where the sitting area was. The location was not great for walking to downtown.
Staff worked extra to please. They checked my room after I left it but before I left the premises and they found my phone plug converter and returned it to me. Life saver. The facility was well maintained.

United KingdomIn general this was not my idea of a 5 star hotel. I am not certain what the criteria are, but we would rate it a high 3 star. See above. box. We never knew from day to day at what time our room would be occupied by the clieaners. If we wanted a siesta, we mostly found that the room had not been done.
Good room but we found that the time to make it up varied a lot and frequently we found on returning to the room for a siesta, the room had not been done. On enquiring about this at reception, we were told that that "maids" prepared each room according to how many guests there were at the hotel. Breakfast was good. Pool was very nice.

GermanyThe location is easily accessible by car. However, the location is not ideal if you wish to walk into the Marsala centre for its cafes and restaurants. There are literally no defined pathways in the immediate surrounds, so one finds oneself walking along rough roads in what is not the most friendly looking surrounds. Perhaps this will be remedied as development of the area continues in future years.
This hotel is a relatively new build (about 20 years ago), being in the style of the adjacent old building (now the hotel restaurant but currently closed due to COVID). It has an old world grandeur. Ample private parking at the front of the hotel. Its has a swimming pool set in very pleasant surrounds. The entry and common areas/rooms are filled with magnificent furniture and paintings. The room was very comfortable and warm. The breakfast room is large and splendid in all ways. The buffet style self serve central arrangement was well provided with sweet and savoury options with coffee, tea and hot chocolate served by staff from a separate counter. Fresh fruit and juices from another separate buffet. All staff were helpful and friendly.

CroatiaThe hotel is really beautiful, we had a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was very tasty, with a lot of choice. The coffee was really good. The only pity is there were so few guests. I recommend to go to the centre by car. The hotel is a bit remote, with winery storages between the town and the hotel.

RussiaThe hotel seems to be Grand, but actually there's nothing really grand in it. You can see that the building and rooms used to be rather representative, but it was kind a long time ago. Everything is really old and a bit tired :) The hotel is not really good situated if you want to have a walk through Marsala: it's far from the old city. You also have a very poor view if you choose standart room.
Rooms are still rather big and convinient. Personnel is very friendly. Just across the road you can see Marina with a plenty of yachts. The hotel has a comfortable and big parking zone, that's free for guests.

Wonderful location grand old style hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Well appointed very spacious room with adequate storage space. Well lit bathroom, heated floor and separate shower (no bath). Shuttered window with internal views. Ample car parking and easy access to the town by car or taxi. Pracised good COVID hygiene - staff all masked and requirement for patrons in public areas. Grand old Florio Cantina (the original Marsala) walking distance and a worthwhile (albeit expensive E25 pp) tour and tasting.

GermanyThe area immediately around the hotel wasn’t very nice and due to the traffic and lack of sidewalks walking at night felt a bit unsafe. It’s a bit of a walk to the centre of the city.
The pool area is very nice and we had it to ourselves most of the time. Towels for the pool are available from reception free of charge.Breakfast was good with both sweet and savoury options. Very close to the train station and ferries to Favignana.

Very clean room and bathroom...good water pressure . Free Parking and Breakfast included in your stay. Toiletries... which are a bonus. Tea kettle in the room which I expect in a European room with no coffee machine. Sea view. Staff very nice. Daniella was the best! Answered all our questions..pleasant to talk with and very helpful.
