Too few bathrooms for the number of guest. The kitchen was messy and the floor dirty and sticky.

I know it’s a hostel, everyone stays together & eats together, but since the current corona situation I would at least expect wearing a mask from the staff while they were talking on your face. There was only one guy who considered that and only once. One of the volunteer girls was even coughing while showing us the room, it was a little bit annoying since Im in the risk group and watching ourselves. They were nice tho. 2 am in the night people were screaming on the speaker and being super loud, but again it’s a hostel, that happens. Other than that it was a nice stay.

The location is just AWESOME. I think that’s the main/only thing worth to stay for the double room instead of hotel rooms. (Same price, no private bathroom) You can discover a lot of attractive, little streets around. The room was clean.

Not all the staff spoke English that well, which is not a problem, but it ended up in a miscommunication about the laundry, which we were to collect in the morning, but it turned out it wasn't washed or dried yet. However, that was solved, hung out to dry and in the end we collected the laundry later that day.

Superb location! Right in the middle of Genova, but also close to a (paid) parking garage where we put our car. Friendly staff. We were in a different building from all the dorms, so it was quiet and comfortable at night. We received an interactive map and guide with all the Genova local tips. We were not disappointed by the tips about Focaccia and Pesto. Super!

Staff Ren, Federico and orhers are collaborative and helpful.ifelt like home. Location Is in Heart of centre. Rooms are spacious. i parked the car in cemetry free parking and moved by buses.

A thousand steps up to the building. A thousand more inside to find out I was in a room at the other location. But if youre in the first lócstion that's what you have to contend with.. No elevator millions of stairs. Second location elevator was like a coffin.. Sent luggage up but climbed 6 flights to room. No heat, mold in bathroom shower, just not a good place.

The location is perfect, super close to the city's center, and everything you need is near the hostel The guys who manage the hostel are super kind and helpful Marco,the owner is super cool .He also let me take a shower even after I did the checkout . I definitely suggest this place

That I had to leave Genova so quickly!

Though I stayed there only a few hours (arrived late and left early), I was greeted by everyone I saw (staff and guests). The breakfast was abundant and with a great choice of products. And the room was great, with lockers that you are given a lock to use in case you've not got one.

I had a bed in a dormitory. The beds on the top have no privacy, the mattress was old and sagging. After a couple of minutes lying it started itching. I had bites from bedbugs as the symptoms remain until I left. It was so loud as the people in the hostel were having a little party or something. Falling asleep before 12pm?no way.. I would not choose this hostel again and I think the price is way to high for what you get.

I really enjoyed my staying at Ostellin, the owners and stuff were amazing and welcoming. I met many people, we shared dinner together, we had great moments together... It feels like a big family with beautiful values. Thanks for Mateo and Fede, coming back for sure :)

We received a very warm welcome. The hostel is very well equipped and super clean. We found everything we needed for a cosy breakfast in the kitchen. The location is very central. Although we were there on Halloween and there was partying in the street, we didn't hear anything in our room. The children also felt very comfortable.
