Parking is in a private gated lot and is located behind the facility and down stairs and is a bit of a walk. Too far to carry luggage which is why the road is open for vehicles for a while in the morning and afternoon.

Our room was on the first floor. Off the elevator there were still two small sets of steps to get to the room. Our room was large and overlooked the street below. Since traffic is only allowed on the street for an hour in the morning and afternoon, there was no noise. The room had a closet, safe and mini fridge. Bathroom had tub, shower and bidet. There was a spa in the basement with steam room, sauna and hot tub which I took advantage of every afternoon. The included breakfasts were fantastic. Everything you could possibly want. We ate dinner one night at the motel and it was very good. There were two restaurants across the street and multiple places to eat within easy walking distance. Also, lots of shops to explore. There is a pool which was not open when we were there.

Nothing, BUT pay close attention to the directions they send to be able to drive and park at the property! The old city is only open to vehicles during very narrow windows each day.

Center of a very nice town to relax and visit the Tuscan Hill Towns and Chianti wine region. The staff was very helpful in all areas and well connected with the businesses in this very pleasant town.

This is personal preference but neither my husband, nor I slept well on our beds. They were a bit too firm for our liking.

Beautiful hotel with a very cozy atmosphere and the best view of the Tuscan landscape. It’s located in the heart of the town. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the big breakfast.

The signage from the parking lot to the back entrance needs improvement. There was one poorly placed sign and walking through that area for the first time, in the fog, at night, was confusing to say the least.

This was my second time at this hotel and I will absolutely be back again. The view off the back balcony is incredible. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. We love the walkability of the area - dinner, some shopping, and a nice treat.

What a wonderful hotel, right in the heart of Castellina in Chianti! The staff were extremely helpful and polite. Our rooms were large and comfortable. We had a view onto the main street in the village, but it was very quiet despite the activity right below us. The breakfast buffet was amazing, as was the terrace view while eating it! It was very near great restaurants and bars, and provided parking for our car. I would definitely stay here again when in Chianti!

The whole vibe of the hotel was a dream! The view from the restaurant overlooking the pool was amazing. Highly recommend going to the sunset terrace on the other side of the town.

The pool had quite a few wasps around it which put us off using it.

Lovely property in the heart of Chianti in Tuscany. The rooms were spacious and clean and the surrounding area was fun to explore. Definitely recommend reserving a dinner at Taverna Squarcialup! That was a highlight of our stay.
