Luigi and his family were so accommodating of everything we wanted to do in the Amalfi. They helped us book restaurants, a day trip to Capri and went out of their way to find us a booking at a nearby beach club. Also, Luigi was so helpful in driving us and picking us up from nearby areas. The hotel itself is also absolutely wonderful. Our room was clean and the bathroom a very high spec. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and enjoying the views over Praiano. We ate dinner at the restaurant on the roof terrace on one night and had breakfast at the hotel every morning. We could not fault the food, it was so fresh and delicious. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would recommend this gem of a place to anyone visiting Praiano.

We truly felt that we were in a five star hotel. Room was exceptional. Very clean. Best breakfast we had in Italy! Choices were amazing and u limited! In addition, Luigi and his family and staff were all exceptional and so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Extremely helpful with ALL of our requests. Extremely accommodating with parking, personalized shuttle service, our questions and helpful with planning our days. We had dinner at the hotel and it was excellent. Location was really nice, and outside of the craziness of Positano and Amalfi. Access to restaurant and beach was easy and made easier with Luigi and his family.

Amazing service, family run hotel, the breakfast was fantastic and the view was incredible!!! Luigi and his family try their best to make you feel at home and even provide a complimentary shuttle service to pick you up and drop you off in the Praiano area! We were flying out early one morning from Naples airport. They organise transfer and packed breakfast for us. Thank you Luigi and family for everything 😊

The family that run the hotel are amazingly warm and generous and couldn’t do enough to help. The room was bright airy and comfortable with a lovely bougainvillea shaded balcony. The food at breakfast was homemade and delicious. Evening meals also amazing. loved the place.

I literally have nothing negative to say about this place. It's truly one of the most memorable stays I've had and it's a testament to the care and hospitality of Luigi and his family. Trust me when I say do not question booking a place here!

What an amazing, romantic hotel situated nicely between Praiano and Positano. I was drawn to booking this property thanks to the lush bougainvilleas that cover the exterior of the hotel, but the hotel offers so much more. The breakfast on the terrace was such a nice start to our day, with made to order eggs, a selection of Italian pastries, fresh juice and fruit, and the tastiest cappuccino ever. Secondly, the biggest pull for this place was the fact that they have an in-house complimentary chauffeured service to take you to Praiano since the hotel is a little bit out of the town center. This was such a lifesaver and we had no idea this was an offering when we booked the place! It really allowed us be more mobile and see more spots that we wouldn't have been able to access on foot (and the bus would have been a bit more of a hassle to deal with). And finally, Luigi (the owner), Daniela, Federico and the rest of the staff are the warmest, kindest people you will meet. They were incredibly hospitable and friendly, taking the time to drive us to spots around Praiano, make reservations for us, and offer us guidance on what to do and see. They are the main reason why we will come back again in the future. The room was on the smaller size but the cleanliness, modernity and more importantly, the absolutely stunning oversized terrace with outdoor furniture more than compensated for that. We loved every minute here and cannot wait to come back again!

What’s not to like about this hotel? I would consider myself well-travelled and Hotel Pellegrino blew me away. This humble, kind family lives and breathes hospitality and customer service. The restaurant is incredible, as is the breakfast, the shuttle service and more. No detail is too small, they go well above and beyond. I cannot wait to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amalfi.

My absolute favorite of the 6 places we stayed in Italy. The pictures online don't do it justice - it's twice as beautiful, and sparkling clean. This family owned establishment went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Very kind people, who obviously take great pride in their hotel. I loved that the a/c got nice and cold, the bed was very comfortable, and our balcony was fantastic, with amazing views. The owner even gave us a ride each morning to Positano, just a few minutes away. And, my goodness, the food was just so fantastic!! Really good breakfast, with a ton of choices. We had dinner there as well, and drinks, and I cannot say enough how wonderful it was. I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Don't hesitate booking this wonderful hotel.

I have travelled internationally for forty years and have never come across a hotel owner and staff who go to such an exceptional effort to make your stay perfect like Hotel Pellegrino did. The hotel is perfectly situated in Praiano which is only 15 mins drive from Positano. It is minutes walk from the centre with a fabulous beach club (a walk under the church) and restaurants The hotel provides shuttles which is so helpful. It is that beautiful, classic Amalfi hotel. We sat every morning and had a glorious breakfast overlooking the sea, it was fabulous. Recommend the sea view room with terrace, very roomy with sun loungers. Elegant, large bathroom and air con. Luigi the owner was one of the kindest souls I have ever met, every guest he really goes the extra mile. I would highly recommend this fantastic place.

We loved everything

We loved everything about our stay at Hotel Pellegrino from the moment we arrived. The staff was beyond amazing and made us feel so welcomed. They went above and beyond to meet all of our needs. They even made sure we had warm milk every morning & night for our 15 month old son, and provided us with rides to town whenever we needed. We can’t wait to come back just to stay at Hotel Pellegrino! We miss it already.

Absolutely nothing, the only improvement could be an anti slip mat in the shower. Otherwise perfect.

What is there not to like? After more than 2000 hotel nights this is a top 5 on the list. The location is beautiful, the newly and tastefully renovated rooms had a balcony view worth dying for. This is a boutique hotel with 10 rooms and there is one thing that really separates Pellegrino from the rest - the family Rispoli with Mr Luigi and Mrs Sandra plus their son and daughter Federico and Daniela. The service level is totally outstanding and the food from Danielas kitchen is truly made with love. Do you want to go downtown, just ask and Mr Luigi will drive you. We were even asked if we wanted any special last nights dinner and were served french oysters, champagne, a beautiful mushroom risotto, everything just for us. After waiting for the transport to the airport Daniela made us a lunch packet to bring and it was a sad moment to leave this wonderful place.

Not only is everything spotlessly clean, the interior is also tasteful. Love the delicious, hearty breakfast every single day! Daniella makes the best omelette. 🧡 We truly appreciate the hospitality provided by Luigi and the family! Hotel Pellegrino makes the Amalfi Coast even more magical.

During our stay we were treated with such kindness and going above & beyond. Luigi the owner is fabulous at running the hotel and has a complete heart of gold. He and his family are just so lovely! The decor is beautiful and authentic with traditional Italian furnishings and attention to detail and spotlessly clean . Our bed was very comfortable and bathroom facilities were also excellent. Our most favourite part of the day were the fabulous breakfasts complimented by the spectacular sea views. The hotel is in a good location as it’s within short walking distance to the village, we would really recommend staying in Praiano - many quality restaurants, beaches , friendly village which has so much to offer away from the hecticness of Positano. very nice family hotel. nice balcony with nice views. the owner was a true gentleman and he helped us with everything. we really enjoyed our stay there. the bathroom was very spacious and the design was unique. the shower cabin was very big, and well equipped. it was the best shower experience I had in my life. you cannot understand until you experience it :) it has a restaurant/breakfast room at the top with a beautiful view and a terrace. breakfast is served at your table(not buffet) in restaurant and it is very good. parking space is inside the building or by the road in busy times I think. room furnished with smart TV so you can stream channels.

Hotel Pellegrino is a home away from home. Luigi, Daniella and Fredrico are extremely hospitable. Everything is taken care of. The breakfast is better quality than any hotel I have ever stayed at. This is truly a hidden gem and made our experience on the Amalfi coast unforgettable. If you are questioning whether to book this place, just do it, you will want to come back. Wow wow wow! What a wonderful stay I had at Hotel Pellegrino! I'm a reasonably well-traveled single woman and have never, EVER before experienced such genuine warmth and hospitality. Luigi and his family go above and beyond for every guest from recommendations on what to do and assistance with booking, to complementary shuttle service into neighboring towns, incl Positano. The property is cozy and very well maintained with an interesting history and beautiful views of the Tyrrhenian Sea from all the rooms, as well as from the terrace where breakfast is served daily. (Oh my goodness - the breakfast! It's absolutely as delicious as everyone has mentioned!) The hotel is perfectly situated between the towns of Amalfi and Positano - I visited both during my stay and I prefer the quieter Praiano hands down. The best beaches (La Gavitella), local restaurants, path of the gods and even boat rentals are within easy walking distance or public transportation, if you prefer. I strongly recommend not renting a car - unless unavoidable - since the coast can be very congested. If you're considering Praiano for your next holiday, look no further - you have found THE place to stay! Grazie mille, Luigi, Federico and Daniela. I will be back!

The property is beautiful, clean, well kept. The rooms are crisp and very functional and the balcony had a great outdoor setting we could curl up and watch the sea / view from. it is slightly out of the centre of town but is no more than a 5-7 min walk down hill which we did all the time. the owner of the hotel and his family were so charming and hospitable. they even offered to drive us places including Positano, and went out of their way to ensure we had the best time exploring Praiano and the Amalfi Coast. the breakfast is delicious in the restaurant on the top floor and there is a beautiful outdoor terrace to sip a drink and watch sunset. we loved our time here and will definitely be back!
