The only problem was that the traffic was a bit too noisy to leave a window open for fresh air at night- Bologna had some extra hot weather- though a lot of the year, you wouldn't want the windows open anyway. But the thick-paned windows were EXCELLENT for noise abatement. With them closed, I could barely hear anything. I wish my windows at home were that good.

The host brothers bent over backwards to help me out with some travel issues I had, from train booking to helping me get a bodywork appointment for a sore hip They were like a concierge service. The bed was very comfy, bathroom a good size-especially the sink, so it was easy to rinse out a bit of clothing- with great water pressure and temperature, and a bidet! There was a bus stop almost exactly across from the hotel and another one the equivalent of about a half a block in the other direction on the outer circle which meant more options for buses to central areas or the train station, though I mostly walked to the central areas. Thick-paned windows were very effective for making a quiet room. It seems to attract a respectful clientele.

Some furniture is a bit old, and despite the excellent location public transport is not great.

The staff was courteous and friendly. They were always happy to offer help on practical issues.

A beautiful old building located right in the historic centre of town, all the historic sites are within easy walking distance. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the owners, 2 brothers are lovely people, very friendly and helpful and suggested great sites to see.

The staff were excellent. From the minute I entered they bent over backwards to accommodate my every need. The the facility was spotless. My well cleaned and tidied up room and bathroom were a pleasure to return to each day. When I first arrived I asked Andreas for a quiet room high up in the hotel and he he gave it to me. It was quiet and private. It was a 30-minute walk to the train station station which was fine with me. Lots of cafes right outside. Just a 10-minute walk to to the the tower and numerous fine restaurants. Andreas went out of his way to help me find a clinic where I could obtain a covid test in order to secure my green pass.

One of the best value for money choices in bologna. The hotel staff was very helpfull friendly and willing to show the things to do around with a map and prososals. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities for a very pleasant stay. The location of the hotel is ideal since it literally is in the heart of the city (5 minute walk from the two towers ) but also far enough to be away form the city noises. Definitely recommended.

The building is very old so the sound insulation is not optimal. I was able to sleep well at night nonetheless so it is not so problematic.

Both the room and bathroom were very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The wifi worked smoothly and the hotel is at walking distance from the city center.

Lots of stairs, no lift. Very small single room 10m2 max. Separate bathroom. Having to lock and unlock doors all the time. Small hand towel. No heating. No glasses. Lot of street noise. Not worth the money paid. Very low bed, not comfortable with a hard mattress.

The staff couldn't be more helpful and are very knowledgeable. Location great. Lots of restaurants nearby.
