This resort is heaven on earth, beautiful surroundings and very peaceful

The only (very minor) gripe is the drive to the resort - it's a few miles down a small country road, but take it carefully and all is good. FOLLOW THE ROADSIGN to the hotel when you see it - the SatNav took us to totally the wrong place and got us stuck up a small side street (not the hotel's fault at all, but heed the warning)

Hotel is fine in every respect - perfect for a country resort. It was a shame we didn't have time to stay longer to enjoy it properly. Restaurant is great and not overpriced either :-)

There is no water provided in the bedrooms. The buffet breakfast is not brilliant when independent travellers need to queue behind coach tour guests for coffee, and everything else.

The reception staff were incredibly helpful with each and every one of our requests. One receptionist in particular helped us with booking our ferry to Sicily for the day of our departure and nothing was too much trouble for him

Breakfast was a bit limited for vegans but this was expected, and it would have been great to have tea/coffee making facilities in our room, but other than that, it was an amazing stay and we wish to come back!

The place was impeccably clean and beautiful, the staff was so polite and helpful, they made us feel really welcome. The breakfast was good and fresh, with freshly baked cakes and fresh fruit. We found bathrobes and slippers in our room which was great, and spent a lot of time walking around the property which was amazing. You can also use one of their bikes to get around the hotel.

Could have made more of views that surround the hotel. From the restaurant you cannot see the lovely view, just a hedge. Same applies for the small bar area.

Hard to say as we really enjoyed out stay. Maybe the bathrooms felt a bit outdated. But still everything was very clean so didn't bother us too much.

The grounds were just beyond our expectations. It was like a hidden retreat hidden away. We enjoyed the walks with kids in the small forest, played mini-golf and tennis. Fed the ducks in the pond and horses and ponies. Kids had a blast. Also the breakfast was amazing. Lots of options and great quality.

The mattresses wasn't that comfortable but it's ok

Peaceful place for a nice holiday in the countryside. Staff was amazing. Breakfast even though it was the same every morning, it was nice. Pool cleaned. Enjoyed having a lovely walk near the lake and near the horses. Easy to access from Maierato where one could find a super market and to go other places.

The resort is based in the county side so you do need to drive a while before getting to the beach or the closest town. The roads to the resort are not very good.

The property was very well maintained and the facilities were very good, the restaurant had very nice food.

Poor WiFi. We had lots of luggage and our annex was quite far from parking so was a bit of a hassle to load And unload in the heat. Biggest drawback was road leading to the hotel. Has to make a very sharp turn from main road to drive along this narrow country road. In fact we did not go out as much as planned.

The property is beautiful. The restaurant is lovely and they take great pride in their food. The spa is unique and very relaxing. Donatella was my massage therapist, and she was amazing! This is a beautiful place to stay. They go above and beyond for their clients.

Pool was closed. Spa facilities closed at 7pm and are shut on Wednesdays. Not advised until we got there for our 1 night stay.

If you are arriving from the A3 autostrada North…….don’t be tempted to follow your car sat-nav (or Google Maps) to attempt the farm/goat track entrance from the North! There’s a lovely road in from the South, and it’s much more ‘relaxing’. Even with a 4WD car!😀

A fantastic location, high up with great views of the surrounding mountain villages, and the sea. Very clean and spacious rooms. (We had one of the semi-bungalows). Excellent restaurant with a good menu featuring local produce, and a great wine list.

you need a car to go anywhere outside the resort (but it's secluded location is part of its charm!)

amazing tranquil sanctuary, hidden away on the hills of Pizzo. perfect for a relaxing, quiet break. the rooms are super clean, the beds were very comfortable. the hotel employs the friendliest and most accomodating staff, many thanks to them!

Hard beds, very bad sound isolation in cottages, no fresh orange juice on breakfast, not very tasty restaurant (it is not bad, but nothing interesting)
