Beautiful views from the spacious balcony. This property is tucked into the hillside, and you have views of the sea, the hillside across from you, and can hear the church bells. Clean and comfortable room.

The house is in the mountains, a long drive from everything. So if you intend to visit the coast you can expect a long drive up and down. Try to arrive there by day since the roads are quite steep. Also , the first day the google maps got confused in the mountains and took us to the wrong spot.

The hosts are nice, the apartment is big and it has a terrace. There is a non expensive local restaurant 500 m from the house so if you arrive there without food ( no shop nearby) you won’t be hungry.

Because it is such a lovely place, one would like to stay for more than a night, but there are no basic cooking necessities, like oil, vinegar, tea, coffee and sugar which makes the apartment just like a lovely hotel suite. And it is far from Moneglia to shop. Just my own preferences, sorry 😢

The drive through the mountan switchbacks makes this a bit hard to get to.

The apartment was very clean and is good sized. It has an incredble view and there is a nice familiy restaurant a short walk away. This is important becuase after you arrive you may not want to drive to town.

It is a pity that in the apartment there are no basic things like salt, sugar, tea/coffee, washing gel, shampoo, etc., which would help a lot, mostly by short stays (we stayed only 2 nights and we had to do a big shopping), but we were informed about it before we arrived, so it was not a surprise.

We liked a lot our stay in El Portico. The apartment was very comfortable for 4 adult persons, the rooms are spacious and we enjoyed a lot the views from the terrace. There is a very nice local restaurant just 1 minute walk fron the apartment, which was an additional plus. All the rest (shops, cafés, etc.) are quite far away, but we travelled by car, so it was not a problem for us.

Only a tiny thing but the Autostrada can be heard but honestly that is really not a problem, the place is fantastic.

Stunning views, immaculate and well equipped. Couldn’t have asked for more! The restaurant up the road is great, authentic food and beautiful views, can be walked to easily. Moneglia is close by and has a beautiful beach.

We were driving from Italy to France and chose this place for a one-night stay along the way. The map suggested it is close to the highway, but it actually isn't, and to get there one must travel ~20 min of narrow hilly roads. Not a dealbreaker or anything, but I think people should know that in advance. Alas, it is close to the highway so we did hear its distant noise...

The room (actually, the apartment) is located on a hilltop, with great views over the valley and sea. The apartment is big and well equipped, superb for a peaceful and relaxing stay of a family. We especially liked the balcony and had our dinner there.

This apartment is amazing and I just can recommend it !! Everything was great! It’s very spacious, everything was super clean, kitchen was equipped perfectly, the furnishing is nice and the balcony is simply fantastic as it’s so big and the view ist great ! Of course it’s not directly at the sea but it’s embedded in beautiful nature and we really loved our stay there. Wifi works brilliantly. Thanks for a great stay!

It is an amazing place, i was sorry to go. It is basically impossible to get from Moneglia to Il Portico by foot. If you own a car there is a garage. If you do not own a car you can take a bus(there are about 10 in each direction every day) or a taxi(it is about 15 euros per ride). The house is amazing and has everything you could possibly need.
