There was a smell of cigarrets in our bathroom altough its not allowed to smoke. The bed also made a lot of sound.

The location was great, it has an elevator in case you bring big laguage with you, and its beautiful.

More details of check in would be good, no one answers the phone/is at the apartments before the check in time and with no instructions where to go (a code is also required for one of the doors to get in which was not provided at check in) Bed was pretty uncomfortable, hard mattress and hard pillows

As said, it is italian standard, even from a 5* italian hotel I do not expect much, so you have to be fair with just an italian "room to let" :) The room on the front is sunny and ok, somewhat too small. The room at the back is definitely dark and noisy from the ...capricious tenants above. Both room types get much noise from the corridor.

Very central place and a very nice host. The bakery which provides the breakfast has very nice things (all extra things to be paid by the customer). This is a nice italian "rooms to let"!

The lock combination changed and we were not informed so we were locked out for a few hours. We managed to get ahold of staff eventually and sorted it out, but a reminder to staff to let guests know when the code changes.

Convenient location for visiting the area. Lots of restaurant options around. Clean space and friendly staff. We were able to leave our bags in the building later on check out day as we had a later train.

The room was quite comfortable and came with a balcony. The bathroom was also very clean. We could also keep our luggage in the coffee room after checking out which let us explore the city without carrying around our luggage. Overall, a good experience!

Main bedding didn’t have any duvet covers. It might be a different system that they are using but I am not certain.

Well informative and lovely host. excellent location with easy access to a variety of restaurants, public transport and the main train station. simple but yet all you need.

we had a bit of a hard time to check in, because the codes for entry weren’t send in advance. they use WhatsApp to send codes. my husband doesn’t have this app on his phone. Luckily we figured out to ring the door bell at the property and after that it wasn’t a problem.

The view from our room left much to be desired, unfortunately.

The property is in a prime location, providing easy access to the port and the touristic area. We also enjoyed a very pleasant interaction with the host, who was very kind. We very much appreciated having a coffee machine at our disposal, starting each day with a fresh cup of coffee.

We didn't get a wifi code and couldn't find one within the property. Lift was a bit small but this is common in old buildings in Italy.

Owner kept in touch re time of arrival and code for gate. He was very informative re what to do locally. Common room and areas were kept to a high standard. Good size double bed. Centrally located.

the noise from the street at night and the sounds from the neighbors behind the wall are too loud, everything else is fine

location is great, easy communication with the owner despite little trouble while checking in nice common room to chill, and there is a dining table for a quick meal

first impression was good, then something fall down under the bed, and we found out a empty bottles, and a lot of dust.
