The location is stunning and perfect for a stay in Trapani, near The Beach, shops and restaurants (loved The bakery on The corner). The RoofTop terrace was very nice. There are four different apartments with terasses, not all had sun (in October) but The one we stayed at, had sun most of The Day.

Brilliant views of the sea, from the window, and the terrace amazing for sitting and watching life pass by. A lovely little room, and kitchen with excellent air conditioning. Finally a brilliant host, Alessandra who was super helpful to us, and very fast to communicate. Steps were fine for us - we knew it was on the top floor so no problem, but this should be considered for anyone who has limited mobility. 10/10

Wasn't a major issue for us, but there are ALOT of stairs to the room we were staying at and the luggage pully only helped with a handful of those. If you have bad knees/cannot take stairs, I wouldn't chose this particular room - there are lower apartments though. However, the view was worth it at the top. Owners communication was okay, but slow in helping resolve an issue which did not get resolved for our stay. The shower is in the side of the bedroom (not in the bathroom) and all glass, so if you are staying with friends, it's a little inconvenient to have privacy. Wifi didn't work in the whole room, only in sections of it.

The views were incredible and the terrace was outstanding. Property was also in a great location for the nearby town and exploring. Owner was there to handover keys and help with luggage pully but there were instructions if she weren't there. There's a beautiful set of wooden doors opening to the view which was awesome to wake up to the sunrise with!

I am quite fit and I don't mind going up the stairs to the third floor, it is good exercise but for anyone who find this difficult, maybe do not stay in the old part of the town as there are no lifts. But that is common sense. The terrace could do with an umbrella for when the sun is too strong, though I used the loungers which have a mechanism for providing shade on your head.

The highlight of this amazing proporty was the view from the balcony above our bedroom. It shows a breathtaking view of the sea and mountains, the quiet walk along the old wall of the tramuntana where people visit without disturbing the neighbours and without much noise. It is located just in the heart of the old town where traffic is restricted and as a result you are not bothered by traffic noise either. The mattress is the best part of the apartment. Most mattresses in hotels, (even 5 star hotels) are very hard and uncomfortable but in Cielomare it was like landing on a comfortable cloud every nitght. The character of the apartment is lovely, maintaining the typical Italyan style and transporting you to the past. I loved the sink, made by carving a natural stone into shape. The apartment has a private shower, cooking facilities and ample space for your clothes and you wake up in the mornings with the sounds of birds and of course the waves of the sea. You must take a photo from the window each morning as it constantly provides different stunning images each time. I loved it!

The damp smell. The bathroom smelt damp and definitely needs a fan to help with that. The smell wasn't there all the time but just when you had a shower and came back later.

The view was out standing. The pictures exactley as when you arrived. Host had amazing communication.

I appreciated a lot the sea view in the historical city center, few steps from all restaurants and services. The appartment was totaly cleaned, comfortable, very well equiped and the interier is managed with very cool design. Especially the landlord she is very accomodating and giving you the excellent service.

However we had a bit of an incident, we were out roaming around & the host sent me a msg asking us if we are inside & stating that we forgot to close the water, she told me that there was a big quantity of water coming from our apartment & lost the entire water stock. I was shocked that we did damages to the premises & will be finding everything soaked in water at that time. I checked everything before we went out that all lights are switched off & nothing is one not even water taps. As I do usually. I made sure of this but as the leaver of the toilet flush had a problem therefore it was a bit difficult to close I thought this was damaged but the host kept insisting that it was not damaged. However some of the water from the flushing was dripping in the toilet as she sent me a video of this. If we did not receive the video we could have rushed back from our outing for nothing, I think this was a bit exaggerated from her side & she told us that there isn't enough water now for us & other guests. However we managed to have a good time here because the apartment was very nice after all.

Location was perfect as the pictures are shown with beautiful view, we had some good quality of coffee & a coffee machine as well well done to the host.

The terrace in the duplex apartment was not private, the doors opened out onto the public walkway above the beach. This was busy at times so wasn't as inviting as the pictures suggested. This was only a minor dislike though.

Lovely apartment which was comfortable, clean and it was in the best location next to the beach and close to lots of restaurants in the old part of the city. The host Allesandra was very helpful and accomodating and had some excellent recommendations for places to eat and visit.

Perfectly located close to restaurants and the ocean. Beautiful terrace with an astonishing view. And the host. Alessandra was amazing. Great tips on what to do, where to park and the best bakery. super service minded and helped us everything. Even helped us book a restaurant and gave us some Mint to or coffee, to give us that sicilian twist. we made a sicilian friend and we really hope that we are able to come back.

The kitchen is really small, for a lunch / breakfast it's okay but for dinner just go outside.

The host was super friendly & always avalaible trough whatsapp if we had any questions. The accomodation itself was very cosy.

View from a terrace - amazing, attitude of an owner also great. Huge beds for up to 5 ppl, a lot of space for everyone. Location to main street - approx. one minute by walk. We would book this accommodation again.

the stairs! the apartment is very small - the sofa bed did not have sheets provided, no 3rd set of towels, no pillow for sofa bed. 2 coffee pods for 3 people…. not impressed with it for the money paid.

warning! STAIRS! no mention was made of the stairs and this is really worrying, especially if you have any kind of mobility issues. 2nd floor is actually roof top, very narrow at least 6 flights with irregular depth. location is very central for a nice selection of shops and restaurants/bars, the port etc

The comments from previous guests were true…..the pictures did look as what it was…..We were on the last floor w/o elevator. Good workout though :) but the suit we stayed was really small. Literally sleeping in the kitchen and bathroom at the same time. The terrace was shared with others that stayed in the much bigger apartments next door.

The apartment was less then 10 min (walking) from the city center and very close to shops and restaurants.
