Being on the ground floor my door opened to the street - would have been nice to be up a level and be able to have the window open without smoke from smokers.

Beautiful, very clean. Hosts were very nice to us. They went really far out of their way to provide transportation to two girls in our group. We all attended a wedding and the girls had no way to get to the reception (about 20 minutes away). Julie and her sister called all over town to hire a driver to take them and bring them back to the hotel (at 3:00 am) and then drive them to the airport to catch an early flight). We were quite impressed with how graciously they handled that. The hotel is conveniently located very near a closed to traffic part of town with shops, restaurants.

Everything was exceptional! This is a lovely, family-run hotel. The staff is friendly and incredibly helpful (they truly go above and beyond to help you navigate your stay), the rooms are clean, breakfast was in a cute room and delicious with something for everyone. Overall, could not have been happier with my stay!

Breakfast organization could slightly improve. The logistics for the late joiners was not optimal. Breakfast stuff can focus more on the guests with the motto "eat the meal together with the guest" to better understand their needs. They can actively ask if the guest needs anything or if everything is fine.

Claudia solved my parking issue in a very creative and fast manner. The friendliness of the reception stuff was at the highest level. Overall pleasure of the stay exceeded my expectations.

Very clean. Staff was extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. They went above and beyond to help other guests get to a wedding venue and then from there to the airport for an early flight. I can’t say enough good things about them. I highly recommend a stay at this wonderful hotel!

Difficult to drive a car in the narrow streets but the staff helped us and organized a parking for us.

Everything was just perfect.

If you’re looking for a superb hotel, this is truly it. The hotel is spotless clean, the rooms are refurbished, well-equipped and comfy. The breakfast is delicious and caters for all tastes. If you’re a coffee snob, enjoy Giuseppe’s (the owner) cappuccino. On a personal note, Giuseppe is a storyteller, an encyclopaedia and a perfect host. There is nothing he doesn’t know. He is extremely helpful, i.e. kindly booked our lunch in one of the most delicious local fish restaurants and he recommended the best cakes in town. He knows the local history and is a pleasure to talk to. In a sense, it felt that we came to Castellammare just to meet Giuseppe and his family!

I wish we could have stayed here longer! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were able to store our luggage before and after check-in, which was wonderful. The breakfast was great, the room was quiet, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. 100% satisfied with our visit! :)

Breakfast only started at 8:30, which caused that everyone went at the same time. Perhaps booking shifts or opening the breakfast earlier could avoid a busy canteen (?)

Bedroom was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fantastic and staff lovely! Although the reception was closed when we arrived, we were able to get the room and formalized the check in at a later moment.

The walls are a little thin so you could easily hear the cars and people taking outside. The breakfast time could be expanded to an hour instead of a half hour.

I loved the location. I loved the owners who were so nice and accommodating. The comfort of the rooms was inviting and cozy. They served a wonderful morning breakfast with a TV to watch the morning news to start the day. Overall, in general, this is a gem of a place with friendly, dedicated owners in a quiet but perfect area in the town. I will be returning to Castellammare next summer and I will definitely choose this place again if they have availability.

The place is well maintained, cleaned and overall really beautiful, a little hidden gem. The receptionist was really welcoming and made sure we had a nice holiday!
