There was an elderly lady at the reception who seemed like the manager or owner of the place. She was pretty rude. She created a big deal for making a cappuccino during the day whereas we were told it is available 24 hours a day. There was complimentary breakfast which was mentioned in booking.com but she made a big deal of that too as though she was doing us a favour. But rest of the staff was excellent especially the manager who did our check in and Derrick also. Very curious.

Location was excellent, walking distance to everything. Room was a good size compared to room sizes in Europe. They cleaned the room everyday.

Absolutely incredible! I don't think I've EVER stayed in a place that cares so very deeply on every level about their guests' experience. Location was pretty close to everything, grocery store nearby, but the STAFF was amazing, and one even loaned us her personal umbrella to use! The coffee machine was fantastic, the breakfast croissants and jams were perfect, the sound proofing was great, rooms were spotless, views of the basilica were such a bonus, and it was all just a wonderful experience all around!

Everything was truly exceptional. Although there is not breakfast, the hotel offers gourmet coffees and delicious croissants, plus yogurts, Nutella, jams, fruit juices and beverages. Staff members go above and beyond to ensure that you have a great stay.

It is a beautiful and elegant hotel. I don’t know how old San Guiliano Inn is but it looks very new. It is very, very clean and well maintained.

I didn't realize that the Inn is on the 4th floor (5th floor for Americans) of a quiet and subtly marked building without a traditional front desk concierge. However, it was still easy to find and just remember to take the elevator to the 4th floor and everything will be extremely easy from there.

Very centrally located. For instance, 10 min walk to the Duomo and just a block and a half away from All'Antico sandwiches and the Galleria dell'Accademia. The room was beautiful and we had a view of the Duomo from the bed! Although centrally located, the room was so quiet at night, which was perfect. They also had free cappuccino and water - a HUGE plus in my book! I didn't mind that breakfast was not included because Florence has so much good food to explore. All in all, a 10/10 experience here.

There was nothing negative about this place. It was perfect!

Fantastic room (43) with view of the Duomo (stayed 4 nights). All the sights and train station are in walking distance. Amazingly comfortable bed and nice sized room, kept exceptionally clean. Windows very soundproof. Great bathroom and shower always nice and hot and good water pressure. Fridge and safe in room. Access to kitchen 24hrs where you can make yourself a hot drink. There is also a fridge in there with complimentary bottles of water, juice, coke, beers and yogurts. Also fresh croissants in there every morning. Hosts were amazing, friendly and looked after us so well and we were given a lovely bunch of mimosa as a gift when we left. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous small guesthouse and our room had a stunning view of the Duomo. A great location for our first visit to Florence!

The erratic times we were interrupted to kind of clean some things in our room. The taxi we got from the hotel service was overpriced, we should have tried to get an uber or similar service instead. Otherwise everything else was pretty good.

Complimentary supply of hot and cold drinks and croissant in the morning was a nice touch. We were grateful of the supply provided to us for the duration of our stay

Our stay at San Giuliano Inn was great and exceeded our expectations- we truly loved everything about this property! Location was perfect, room was spotless, well designed and offered great views of the Duomo. Common space included a great sitting area and well stocked kitchen. Owner/property manager is excellent and went out of her way to ensure our stay was perfect.

The staff was amazing and jumped at the chance to help us with any part of our stay. The location was fantastic, only a block away from the statue of David! Would definitely return.
