I let them before arriving 2 single bed, they gave me 1 big size bed. :( when I told them, they said that are you sure? :S I opned my booking and eplained. Also was wiriting free parking.. but the hotel has only 4 car parking area :S when i said them, they said they you must to let us for parking before your coming...

It’s an older hotel and it feels dated. But it was clean and accommodations were more than adequate for a short stay. It does not have parking, but that is typical of many hotels who have great locations in historic cities. The hotel staff were very helpful in helping us find parking.

Location was awesome for visiting Cortona. Also the hotel itself offers fantastic views from its location just outside the city walls. It was the best value for a hotel we had during our two weeks of travel through Italy.

Hotel San Luca is an older hotel but it is beautiful with the most amazing location in Cortona. The view from their terrace is just stunning. Our room was small but comfortable and very clean. The breakfast provided was very good. There is also parking at the front of the hotel and that was a real bonus. I would definitely stay there again.

I arrived by bus from the train station. My bus took me to Piazza Mercato and the walk to the hotel was quite hard, uphill with the luggage. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel on Piazza Garibaldi so if possible take a bus there.

A comfortable hotel in a stunning location with amazing views to the valley. The room was maybe a bit dated in style but it was really comfortable, clean and quiet, and I had a balcony with a marvellous view. The breakfast was fine, and again the view! The restaurant Tonnini next to the hotel was very good has an amazing terrace. Highly recommended. The staff was really friendly. The hotel is right next to the historic centre so it's very easy to walk anywhere. There is a nice park next to the hotel, with a playground for children. All and all, I highly recommend this hotel.

Just a little hard to find if you’re driving.

Beautifully situated. Comfortable accommodation, we were given an apartment (though no kitchen). Amazing views from balconies and terraces. Very good restaurant on premises with a great view.

The location was great. The view from our balcony was amazing and the breakfast and its view were also great. The staff were helpful in calling a taxi for us when the bus didn’t come to get to the train station.

Great location for access to the main Cortona pedestrian thoroughfares and parking is quite convenient based on the location - compared to other medevil cities built on a hill.

The furnishings in the bedroom could do with updating. Parking at the hotel was €15 per night. Some free parking was available on the roads leading to the hotel but it was often difficult to secure a space and the walk to the hotel from these spaces was steep.

The staff were all friendly and pleasant and went out of their way to help you. The communal areas were beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. The restaurant served good quality food with an emphasis on local cuisine. Breakfast provided a good choice of food items. Bedrooms were spotlessly clean. Location of hotel in relation the town was excellent .

I paid for an upgrade to have a balcony and view however when I was given my room (comfort) the balcony was on the bottom floor and there was no view. The room didn't look anything like the pictures. Thankfully, when I complained, I was upgraded to a superior room with a view but no balcony. This room was much better and made them stay worth it. I would advice not to pick to basic or comfort room as there is a big difference. The gym was also out of use which was a shame.

Very good breakfast and friendly staff. The superior room is very good.

Although they say they have free parking on site when you arrive they tell you to put the car in a payable parking lot not very close to the hotel.

Staff directing us to parking should always warn that the parking meters take only coins - no credit cards - before sending us down. Without coins (almost 2 euro an hour), the car is illegally parked. Coins are not easy to get - shops do not give them out readily. Thank you for taking this on board for future guests

The room should be equipped with one or two comfortable sofa chairs. For, rooms with balconies 2 foldable, comfortable outside chairs would make this area more enjoyable.
