We stayed at the hotel bistro for dinner. My husband had lasagne which was very nice but to be honest it was a child’s portion. My salmon wasn’t brilliant. However the tiramisu was superb. The bistro menu offered no starters! The main courses were limited! Although we loved the hotel we were given no basic information either verbally or on information sheets in the room regarding breakfast time or checkout time - we had to ask. The shower wasn’t brilliant but that’s just a technicality!

The hotel was fabulous, the room was great and all the staff made us very welcome.

We love this hotel and always stay here before we get the ferry to Greece. Facilities are excellent, location is great and staff are lovely. Not the cheapest place but definitely the best. And cat friendly too.

First Class customer service at this amazing Hotel! From the first minute, everyone from the front desk manager, the manager, every single employee welcomed us and made a great effort to make our stay the best experience! We had a very pleasant stay, our room was big and very clean, we had an amazing breakfast while overlooking from the luxurious decorated lounge the port and the sea. The warmth and politeness of everyone was incomparable! We will definetely come and visit again! Thank you so much!

breakfast was great. There was a private parking which was very important to us, beds were comfy, room was nice and spacious for us. We only stayed for a night. Nice view of the port, big windows. Great dinner.

Location superb for overnight before or after a ferry trip. Staff is extremely helpful, especially Katy in the restaurant. Good secure parking is a bonus.

Check in did not go smoothly. A room with two beds was requested and confirmed prior to arrival via Booking.com messaging service. A double room with two beds was not available that night. The hotel dealt with this issue in an appropriate manner and gave us two rooms. We moved into the pre-booked room the next day.

Location is excellent with a great view. The restaurant/bar overlooks the port and the old part of the city. The menu is short but offers excellent food. The in house baking is superb. Rooms are spacious and attractive.

The check in could have been nicer, the lady flatly told me that I chose a room with partial view of the sea and quasi, I should blame myself that we were first not that happy with our room that overlooked the entry with all the cars and passer byes. If one really wanted, one could see a glimpse of the water. Then next day she sent us to a ticket seller booth that was closed when we wanted to buy tickets for the afternoon concert. She could have just clicked one more and see that all tickets were sold already online. Anyway, we went to the Teatro and was able to get seats there, something she did not suggest we do. I know that concierge service is not what is used to be, but one can deliver the message with curtesy. However, all of these did not much effect our stay, everyone else were super nice at the hotel and we had a great time!

The restaurant is superb! We spent New Years Eve dinner there and Roberto was the best organizer, he chose great music and the service was 5*. The food was the best and the wine paring was excellent!
