How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Photos of rooms on booking.com suggest that they have been updated and are more modern but this is not the case the rooms are older and a bit tired still clean and tidy but not like the new photos suggest this feels a bit miss leading cant comment if there is a room that looks like this as all we saw were older style ones. Very limited parking
Breakfast - very basic but great selection of delicious pastries - hot food was questionable and not very good. But staff very attentive and helpful overall - their English is a little broken and don't always understand what you're saying but they try your best and are very helpful

The restaurant was not open in the evenings due to holidays. No one had informed us about it before arrival.
Hotel is ideal for a 1 or 2 nights stay. Clean, friendly staff and a rich breakfast.

The hotel is not near to many local facilities, but there is a good selection of public transport on the doorstep to get you further afield when required.
For a 3 star hotel, a very comfortable room, very clean. All the staff were very helpful, and thank you, Christian, for suggesting to us to try the local gin!

The attic ceiling was low at the bathroom so If you are tall you won't be able to stand up in the bathtub, you won't fit.
Very friendly and helpful stuff, they booked us a taxi to the airport at 5am, and since we had to wake up really early, they said they could make us coffee at 4:30am! An espresso was exactly what we needed at that time. Also the room was very clean with a comfortable bed.

Breakfast buffet could offer a little more salty variety and vegan/vegetarian options. If you're into sweet breakfast, the choice is large though!
Friendly staff, close to the lake and good infrastructure to get to nearby towns. The beds were amazingly comfy and the A/C was highly appreciated. Also, although it's directly at the train station, the rooms are really quit.

it’s on the main road but it’s not noisy. This is just being a bit picky though as it was great and good security in the car park so we felt happy to leave all the stuff in the car
the property was spotless and the rooms so comfortable. literally the best nights sleep - great bed and pillows (very important for my husband). the breakfast was standard but lovely with great coffee.

I didn't like that pets were also allow.
First of all the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The facilities were kids and family friendly. We all liked the food.

Bath, was dificult to have a shower. For a bath to lay it is perfect, but for shower was a bit complicated - splashing everywhere also hard to stand (low ceiling).

Location: advert said view to the lake but this was not correct as the lake cannot be seen from the hotel and was a walk a way. Room was very small and unforturnately a bit dirty toilet and shower cabinet. Bed cover had cigaret burn and room smelled of smokig

A bit smll rooms
Very clean and comfortable room, but small. We were just for night (literally), because came at 01.00 am and nigh portier wait us, so we just slept and take a breakfast. Beds were comfortable, sheets are new, everywhere was clean , and very good breakfast, so we had a good stay. Nearby big zona commerciale with shops and restaurants, so location is good.
